Lol not here to argue with strangers on the internet, just telling you that iv seen talons struggle on stuff that canams and rzrs hit no problem, and by the time you build them up big enough to keep up, they break. 10:54 I have been waiting since I bought my '21 X3 max a year ago to change wheels & tires. After watching dude spin a drive shaft with those big meats on his Talon, I'm thinking 35" is too big? I've been looking at the 33" tensor DSR's. I'm thinking that's about as big as you can go with a stock X3? ~Any thoughts from the blown budget off road crew? I haven't needed to upgrade driveshafts or axles yet because I really just do trail riding with the family in northern Michigan. Do have the gusset kit up front and shock Tower brace installed. ( just in case the kids aren't riding and I find a ditch that needs to be jumped) 😁😁

    In my opinion if all your doing is some trail riding, and nothing extreme there’s no point in 35s. Just throw some 32s on it and ride. Easier on belt life, steering, wheel bearings, drive train, ect. But everyone else on the planet thinks the 35s are the way to go, which it does help in the super gnarly trails.

    Go watch a few of the videos from Brittany/LITE BRITE she has some of the better camera angles to actually show the terrain better and how steep or not things are. I would assume that one of her tricks to getting it to look more like it is when it is there is holding the camera a lot closer to the ground. But watching her videos of a trail that you have done at least to me they give a lot closer to the view that we had when we were there. I don't know if she has a tips/tricks videography q/a or anything but maybe we could ask.

    Riding at sand hallow offers a lot more places to stand and video, it’s also true rock crawling, it’s not full send getting wild action shots that we try to get. There not a lot of spots to stand even to try and catch the action and stay out of harms way.

  • @BlownBudgetOffroad

    @BlownBudgetOffroad

    2 жыл бұрын

    But yeah we do watch and enjoy their videos! Also gotta mention the traction out there allows for you to climb stuff a lot more vertical, which makes it a bit easier to show the angle. If that makes sense? Back east the terrain is so slimy and less traction it’s not as gnarly of a angle just way less traction
