Thanks for the good videos. Where can you drain the coolant on the x3 f25? Is there a screw for this? Where can I drain it?

Look I was looking and I will still looking for something like this, but personally I definitive think this ones are not looking ok on F25 2014 to 2017! They are to big on the sides! For the time I will stay with the original ones!!

Hello, I have been binge watching your videos lately because I recently got the same car x3 f25. how long did it take for the tail lights to be delivered (I think I saw in one of your videos your plate is from alberta so it might be around the same time for ontario)? They look nice, but in my country it is illegal to do any modification to the oem light system.

I dont even have a BMW X3. This taillights are looking really good. I think the time the indicator is flashing is way too short, looks weird. And please film the car with better lighting next time, or even outside. But other than that: Very good video, very nice taillights. Looks way more modern

That really improves the look of the car and makes it look very nice. Those old tail lights were so outdated and ugly. Great job man!

I want to order these but my x3 came with the factory halogen tail light not the led. So the light on my trunk is not lit. Will these work still? I have the harness inside for the r3verse bulb is it the same thing

Check the AKD product listing. They have shown how the connector should look like. Its better to ask them for compatibility for the pre Lci model. My x3 is LCI, and the connector is the same as their listing.

They mentioned in their listing from 2010 to 2017. You can contact the seller on aliexpress as linked in the video description and confirm with them. I had the same question when I was placing an order, and they asked me to show them my x3 tail light connector . Then they confirmed it would fit.

hi i bought them and install them in my f25 but the outer line dosen't light up only the brake lights and blinkers, have any idea why?

My guy had to run a parking wire from the parking light circuit (fuse box) under the hood to the blue wire on the lights. But be sure to hook up the yellow to feed the light on the tailgate. It's more work than what they say, then plug and play. Now my lights work fine and do what's expected .

It goes from large taillight to small taillight in tailgate . As our oem tail lights do not have turn signals in the tailgate part. This makes the turn signal connection from the main tail light to the small one.

They are plug and play, but yes It's always safe to disconnect the battery.

I don't see any marking on outside of the tail light. It's better to ask the manufacturer AKD. They might have certification.

@@B0RNfree Same problem here, the connector of the Halogen has only 3 pins instead of 4, do my running lights are not working instead when turning on lights the brake light goes on, turning signal, brake, reverse working fine, I guess I should have known because in the halogen X3 taillight the running light/brake is the same bulb, hope to find a fix otherwise I will return them

@@LordToxygene it's copying the style of newer bmws but putting a newer design item on an older bmw looks a lot cheaper than it is and no he isn't saying that the new bmw designs look cheap in general he's legit saying it looks cheap to put it onto an older vehicle
