it’s not even the company’s fault... do you know how serious korea take voting scandals? even if they stayed together netizens would have bullied then relentlessly for being “fake” and having “not earning their place”. disbandment is more to protect the boys themselves,, it’ll give them a chance to grow and get away from that association of being “the group who votes were rigged for”

I felt disappointed about the agencies they are on, obviously someone their bribed someone in the show. For me it doesn't matter if it's not their fault. Now I understand why IZ*ONE also postponed their promotions maybe what happened to X1 controversy happened to IZ*ONE and to the others, worst maybe that's happened to other produce franchise from other countries but I hope not. I hope IZ*ONE and X1 overcome this problems without disbandment.

They were monster rookies fr. Their epic unique concept at the time, unique sound, their 11 music show wins with one song (most of any 4th gen boy group up to date), dance skills, singing, and sales at the time. If they continued they def could have dominated 4th gen; sad that their career was cut short.

I know!! And people were upset with them debuting as the survival show was apparently rigged, but what survival show isn't??? in my mind, in an alternate universe, they are together and successfully made it big. almost 5 years and i still miss x1 so much :( sometimes i thought i got over them, but then i randomly scrolled past contents of the members mentioning each other, doing challenges together, nemo's dream contents or my playlist shuffles to flash i got hurt again. i'm glad they are happy with where they are and what they do rn though

Yeah I agree, disbanding X1 was a huge, huge mistake of Mnet but rebooting them would be too I think. They are almost all in other groups (new ones) or returned to their group (such as Seungwoo in Victon). It would be hard for them to leave their group again to form X1 again I think...

i can’t stop thinking about the injustice that they faced. they were only active for 5months, and 2 of them were spent on hiatus. all their brand deals got cancelled for the scandal that wasn’t their fault. they deserved at least one roty award.. even when they won through voting by oneits, the award show unfairly gave it away. and the award shows say they don’t like rigged shows? they deserved a roty :( even when all these injustices happened, they worked so hard to make oneits happy and gave us love. i really want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for the short time we spent together.
