I cannot stress enough how genius Lysandre is as the villain of XY, thematically at least. You’re telling me that the first Pokémon game to go full 3D, the game people mark as the beginning of Pokemon’s downfall, has a villain who refuses to let his beautiful world growing uglier?!! This game released just after B2W2, one of the most visually stunning games in the series, and the villain wants the world to remain beautiful and unchanging! Hello?!!?!?!?! Next to Diantha’s welcoming acceptance of change and AZ’s desire to change himself, XY had some amazing ideas and themes!

On top of that, Lysandre uses almost exclusively previous Gen Pokémon on his team, only having a Pyroar for Gen 6 rep, whereas Diantha uses exclusively Gen 6 Pokémon aside from her ace Gardevoir. She’s accepting the new Pokémon and experimenting, Lysandre sticks to old Pokémon he knows.

XY is absolutely not as bad as how everyone said it is.
I like how Chesnaught despite cannot mega evolve like the other 5, he show us that he is just as strong as a mega evolve pokemon
I really enjoy your content, its sad to see that pokemon adventures content just does not get noticed at all since the manga is underrated

favorite part of xy arc is how emma is a **main story** character, a proper badass who literally captures and briefly wields zygarde. she's a favorite from the games despite her largely hidden appearance, so seeing her get expanded (haha) on was wonderful
This battle was just awesome, The arc is awesome, and X and Y are awesome. Big props to Y
Ah yes X my favourite depressed Dex holder. I have a lot of respect for him going off to rescue a kid he doesn't know too well. And Lysander, insane absolutely nuts, scares a ten year old and permits the kidnapping of a Fifteen year old. And tries to cause genocide and Direct murder. I'm not surprised
Man, the XY arc is so cool and underrated.
the final battle of kalos in the anime was great but the adventures manga always had these great final battles throughout the whole series Zapmolkuno and gen3 twist were one of the few things that are memorable for me
Definitely a contention for most hype moments in Pokemon

I really like the fact that pokemon literally wear the mega stones in the anime and manga, it just makes it better imo, would've been great if we were able to customize the stones in the games And i hate how the lucarionite just spawns for ash's lucario☠️

After what he did X's ground, Emma, and Korria it's definitely well deserved.
The battle has just been brought to English volumes. Viz censored Lysandre’s blood, but I’m pretty sure with his facial expression and the fact that Malva is being buried in a few pages means that the two are dead, no compromise.
Team Flare is indeed more threatening in anime AND manga adaptations than from Their Original Games EDIT: Also looked it up. Turns out Malva actually planned to double-cross Lysandre once Team Flare's goal was fulfilled...and told Diantha that she would rather DIE than be pitied by Her...ok then...

It's so weird. I was pretty blase about X and Y while I thought Sun and Moon were great. But for Pokémon Adventures, it was the other way around.
Sometimes,being alive is worse than being dead Lysander is in that situation Don't worry tho,the genocidal bonnie of the anime toom care of their Lysander
'still alive.... somehow' ... I'm pretty sure Pokemon Adventures world human beings are weaker version of Kryptonians or something. Taking Hyper Beams and surviving is not something we could expect of humans..... but considering also the dangers of the Pokemon world on the Adventures version, likely humanity would go extinct if was not the case.
