With everything I've seen on the X32, this product looks INCREDIBLE.

Nice intro vid. Been using the BCF for 10 yrs. Still like it, but the major thing missing is the lack of display / scribble strips to see/know what you're tweaking. The X-Touch would solve that problem. Bring it on!

I'm loving my X-Touch for mixing with Logic X! however using with mainstage 3 is proving to be quite complicated. Does Behringer have plans to make a mainstage for X-Touch video anytime soon?

I'm having a hard time confirming the following: do the scribble strips work dynamically as intended/can you easily write plugin parameter automation all while using REAPER? I want a rotary encoder that displays the parameter I'm adjusting(in reaper with fabfilter plugs) so badly. Will this do it for me? Thank you

Are you guys going to add more functionality to the X-Touch and X-Air mixer for the live sound environment? I have the XR-16 and the X-Touch. I really put them thru their paces at a 4 day church conference, and I absolutely loved it! I hope you guys keep on developing/refining this functionality!

Is there something specifically you're looking for Arun? All of the important live mixing functionality is already there but we're open to suggestion. The rest can obviously be altered using the X AIR software apps.

+Rodrigo Ortiz Yes you can "bank" through faders in excess of 8 by pressing the FADER BANK buttons or individually scroll through each one using the CHANNEL buttons next to the Jog Wheel on X-TOUCH.

+Jake Bergeson Answer to your questions are no. But if you desire custom editing your parameters then you will want to go with the X-TOUCH COMPACT instead. We do not plan on making an extender. However you can connect multiple X-TOUCH controllers together to extend your fader count and scribble strips using the built in 2-port powered multi-TT USB hub. :)

Mmm does the X-Touch Compact act as an expanded fader set in conjunction with this unit? Or as a separate controller....?

+Redoubt The X-TOUCH COMPACT can be used as a fader expansion if you are utilizing software that is using Mackie Control Protocol, as HUI is not supported on the X-TOUCH COMPACT. We have videos demonstrating how this works on our youtube channel.

Will this work with Reaper? I know the BCF2000 will but I may wait to get the X-Touch rather than the BCF2000.

+MarkFromHawaii Yes it will work with Reaper, but be sure to check how Cockos implements Mackie Control (MC) in their Reaper software as each DAW has their own take on it. If you are looking for a customizable MIDI CC controller then you should probably go with the X-TOUCH COMPACT instead as that is not possible with the full size X-TOUCH.

I see some videos showing they can be cascaded and linked together. Is there any plans to make a 16ch version of this?

+Papa Branca It works fairly well actually, all transports and job wheels on multiple connected X-Touched are all duplicated. Check out our cascading video in the X-Touch "How-To" video playlist.

Its working great with logic X. Awesome product the only thing Im not seeing is the touch sensitive element. Yes faders move but It doesnt automatically select the track. have to push select button for the software to go to that track. Am I missing something?

It works well with FL Studio - and there is an active community that continually adds suggestions and new features (Here is one of my own). +DBlack DaGreat This is a feature that is only capable of being controlled when used in conjunction with your X AIR Mixers, and in the future with also work with your X32 Digital Mixers. This is because the scribble strips are proprietary to our other Behringer mixers, and Mackie Control and HUI control protocols do not actually implement for that feature.

Behringer, are you going to build expanders? I´m looking for 24-32 faders. I don´t like that Compact missing the Displays and I don´t think having 3-4 jog wheels is clever, it takes up space as well. Please answer. Regards Chris

Will this unit work with Presonus Studio One V3? I know S1 allows for Mackie HUI and UC but some companies who claimed full support are now dropping Presonus Studio One from their lists dew to the way they convert the CC protocol. Could someone please let me know what sort of integration this will allow with S1v3. Same question for the full size x32, very little is published on the compatibility. In the last month I've had an A&H Qu-16, they have now pulled support for Studio One and the CS18ai has finalisation issues, ie, they are shipping it half finished with "fireware updates" promised. My daw is central to my requirements as I am used to using it and don't want to change. I am going to buy the x32 as a desk and understand it has limited daw control, but I think this would work well in conjunction with it. Sorry for having to ask these questions on a KZread video, but the UK dealer network can't answer my questions due to lack of product knowledge. Many thanks.

+Nelson Nelson This is not a recording interface, it's just a controller for for Mackie Control and HUI protocol compatible software. So to record audio signals into your computer you would need a separate audio recording interface.

+stupidusername38 No this is not a MIDI CC controller and is not able to be custom configured, it just emulates what your DAW assigns to MC and HUI command protocols. If you are looking for a full customizable X-TOUCH controller then we suggest you look into getting the X-TOUCH COMPACT which has a editing software program allowing you to customize MIDI CC parameters.

is hard to assign the fader for midi CC control? Because I am looking for something can do both!

I bought this Product only to find it does not work properly in Reaper, Phil mentions only the DAWs that work with this product, I love Reaper and wanted this X Touch to control it, how Disappointed I was that it failed to Deliver. I bought this only recently in 2022.

+chatolars - it does sort of, but it's limited. When you clip audio in Reason, the clip LED lights on the X-Touch... and never goes off. In order to get the clip LED to go off on the X-Touch, you have to power cycle it. :( I returned mine.

got mine from Sweetwater, now I'm selling my mackie mcu pro with an extension and a c4 pro.. yes that's how cool I think the x-touch is, the only thing it needs is behringer to make a proper extension, not the x-touch compact.

We have no need to make an "extension" for these controllers like you speak of because you can already connect two of these controllers together using the powered TT USB hub. Also, color control of our proprietary scribble strips is not a MC or HUI supported feature, this is only intended for future use with X32 Digital Consoles.

Once again this does not work, Behringer X Touch was called a DAW Controller, it did not live up to it's name, only for a few DAW's it worked they did not include Reaper, have not found anything that completely breaks down step by step in how to get Reaper to work with this Controller, I bought this a few days ago in 03/01.2022. the X Touch has been out awhile now you would have thought it would be resolved by now, evidently not, so disappointed.

will this work with PreSounus Studio One DAW? Thanks.
