To be honest they usually film a year in advance on TV shows to give ample time for the editing process which could take months to edit. So when they filmed this it more than likely was 1 to 2 years ago. Also it may have taken that long for the production company to get it sold to a network who was interested, so that probably delayed it. I know this from watching behind the scenes content on various TV shows & movies. It is often a lenghty process to get anything made in the film/show industry.
