When people used to joke about not saying Christmas and now every time I go out people seem scared to actually say CHRISTmas. I always get Happy Holidays.

Their comedy style was super ahead for a video game program. This aged really well lol

This really cures the holiday depression, I see why people comment "thanks for uploading" now

I like how Morgan says that the Dreidel is made of clay & the camera zooms up on it showing that it is clearly made of wood.

I watched this show when I was like 10-14 and I couldn't believe it was cancelled. the further I get into this compilation the more I'm impressed by just how many years it was on the air!! such a great show!

Oh the memories... loved these two. Miss them and TechTV so much.

The 2003-2005 specials were such great shows.

2007 X-Play is still so weird to me. The first 5 or 6 months had the typical satire and humor...then it becomes the prototype for its 2008 rebrand, as well as having a smaller stage. I mean...its only a large screen. What happened to the late 2006/early 2007 look?

The G4 production studios were closed and they were forced to relocate to the E! Building. It was a smaller set, so they could not relocate the giant orb of doom, or whatever it was called, and had to settle for some curtains and TV screens.

I forgot how biting and dipping lightly into politics x play was lol. God at least it had a personality. Wish more youtube game review makers had xplay kind of quality.

Most Vertical Productions I think a lot of it was featured showcases so it’s basically an ad, then the review is their true colors

Aside from the actual reviews, they sound drunk in the first episode in this bunch

Ya know. After many years of thinking of the show and seeing what happened after that I'm not sure if Adam or Morgan were gamers. If I've learned anything in these many years it's the majority of people working in the gaming industry, especially when it concerns reviews just treated gaming like a job and didn't really have a strong attachment to the nuances of the space and it's audience. They just sort of network with other reviewers and they develop their own side of the gaming sphere that they project onto us.
