Nice video glad you flew to my home country btw the Guyana SYCJ is currently under expansion with runway 6/24 expanding close to 11,000ft to accommodate larger aircraft and a new terminal expected to be completed this year :-) The airport was built by the United States during world war aka Atkinson airfield a secret place in case if any of their planes ran out of fuel etc. :-)

Thanks for the comment! If I continue to be more consistent with video releases I should climb in subs naturally. Hopefully I provide a fun and entertaining perspective on flight simulation piloting. Working on my first ever A320 fully loaded flight out of Israel to Zurich. Should be an experience!

I'll be buzzing around there more once I clear my flight list. I have flights to do out of the Middle East, Europe, Eastern US and then I can come back around again for South America.

Yeah. Another viewer corrected me on Cheddi Jagan. XD Lol. I'm going to have to start putting these names through a speech program to get the proper pronunciation! XD That first attempt to recording this flight was a disaster with the pushback tug malfunction and then the second attempt I didn't record was the Zibo 737-800 just random slamming the trim wheel to +10 during takeoff. I popped a wheelie down the runway, took off, stalled out, rolled over and crashed.

It was so not amusing at the time it happened! lol. 45 minutes into recording and wham! I didn't catch the second bug on camera. When I started fiddling with the plane to make sure it didn't happen again, during the takeoff roll the trim wheel suddenly went to +10 and the Zibo 737 popped a wheelie down the runway the entire time. It actually took off, after scrapping its butt across the entire length of the runway. After that bug and the pushback I was like.. NOPE. 737-300 instead.

Not sure if "Dead or Alive" is appropriate for aviation 😬. I was having issues with wheelies on the Zibo mod as well. One comment on the forum was possibly no gas in centre tank could perhaps be the problem. This did seem to solve it.

Cap I am just moving over to x-plane and came over your channel. I am happy to have come across such a valuable channel to help me transition and build my new sim and I thank you excess amount. But as a Trini I had to point out that Trinidad And Tobago are Caribbean Islands and are in the Caribbean and not in South America (although very close) as stated in your video description. Much love.

First time seeing your video, pretty entertaining to say the least. I observed youre using skycycle's TTPP, well ive been working on updating it and I've completed some extensive work to date. I've noticed that you've added ramp positions and changed grass textures, taxi lines etc. did you use WED to make those changes?

Yes I did. Just before I recorded the video I went in and did a quick clean up of the gates to make sure AI aircraft would spawn in properly using the new X-Plane 11 AI Spawn system. I used TTPP's Wiki to put the proper airline ICAO's for all the gates. Of course if the AI planes aren't there or aren't labelled proper in their ACF file XP will just spawn the closet thing. I didn't edit anything else though. Maybe some of the HD add-on's I have that change taxi lines made them look different to you.

WED is extremely easy to me, coming from a FSX/P3D design stand point. Their tools are difficult to use, lack features and require a lot of extra add-on crap to get the same results.

I agree with you there, I would never even attempt this in P3D. I would like to mimic the grass textures you used, cant find one for the life of me thats aesthetically pleasing, until I say your vid. can you tell me the name of that tile and which library pls? much thanks

yup. I am still waiting on 1.08 so that the blending issues are solved. 1.07 is what I am currently using and boy it is really gorgeous. I haven't been lucky enough to experience any rain on it though...Loved the way it started raining in your video when you were doing the walkaround

I wish X-Plane handle rain better. xEnviro suffers from X-Plane's problem. Even if you are flying in an area where the METAR data says RAIN if you are not specifically in an area that is depicted on the in-game Overlay radar (Pressing M by default) as having rain there you won't see it falling and you definitely won't see it on your windshield. xEnviro has come a long way but it still has a long way to go to catch up to the likes of Active Sky 2016.

Just do a search on X-Plane.org in the downloads section by typing in TTPP for Trindad and SYCJ for Cheddi Jagan. You'll see them pretty much at the top.

Pilot2ATC. It is a full featured ATC suite that does Voice Recognition, Moving Maps, Flight Planning, SIDS/STARS procedures, IFR and VFR flight followings. It is very powerful and the ONLY ATC software on X-Plane that doesn't suck.

Only American Airlines and Caribbean Air make that flight daily. JetBlue offers service to Fort Lauderdale and JFK.

Yeah it's pretty good for Freeware! It's too bad there's not more OSM data available around the Port of Spain so more autogen buildings would show up but it is good for what it's got!

It was just really really chilly for once. :) xEnviro uses real world data so that is what the METAR station was reporting closest to TTPP. It could be that it was malfunctioning when it was sending data OR the METAR near TTPP was down so xEnviro had to guess based on other METAR stations nearby.
