As always great job explaining! Keep up the good work.
Nice tutorial mate, I think I need to upgrade!
Great intro, Nick. XP4 also has its own xpClothSurface, which is like subdivision surface, but with some extra stuff. Like thickness.
Nick! Спасибо за урок ! Конечно это очень красиво!!!
thank you !

Thanks!
hi, i have a question. if u look there in the colider. there is a distance between the cloth and the coliding obgect. i am trying to fix this problem myself. but i dont know how. do u know how to fix it?
can you attach the cloth to a character like a cape?
i followed th same steps, for a body muscle but nothing happened.Any solution?
Can this be used on a alembic file animation from blender of a characters clothing? Or would it break? Basically there's the clothing mesh and the models mesh. The cloth would have to stay and interacted with movements like realism if you could

this emoji matter to me a lot ... THX
is there any demo of this new cloth simu , showing something else than a simple plane "falling on a sphere" ? it just looks like the (very old) Clothilde module .. nothing new . If someone can show me a real simulation with characters , complex stuff etc ok I'll be impressed :) . Anyway thx for showing ;) .

clément Vaucelle check out the tearing and sticking features of XP4 cloth. Pretty cool. You can also generate vertex maps from the tearing and emit particles from those maps. Pretty awesome stuff.
But... How do you pin it, like a flag or something...?

We cover pinning in our Gorilla Guide to X-Particles, have you checked that out yet?

Still haven't seen a list anywhere of what the new XP4 specific content is? Is it just a run through like is on the insydium help or is it project based?

Under "advanced" in the cloth tag there is a check mark and then a place to drag and drop a selection. So make a selection tag for whatever points you want to pin, hit the check mark for "pin" under advanced and then drag that selection into the selection box.
