Just when you think you've seen it all, suddenly a new old gem surfaces. And you swear on your life that you have to play this game before you die, because it looks and feels that damn awesome!

@@PeterHon When u mention like that, Saojin really looks like it but Reika is Wing Chun? Reika stance when idle reminds me of a kung fu movie but I can't seem to remember what is it. I don't think it's Wing Chun.

Haha i wasn't the only one that caught this! YES! I think saojin is aunt from the OUATIC series since she has the camera. They just fluffed her up a bit to make her playable.

Never heard of this but the sprites are amazing. I see Tiger, I downloaded him for mugen and had no idea what game he came from.

This game is released in 2000... as I remember. It's developed by a Taiwan company named "IGS". I saw this arcade when I was in high school. Some characters are spired from HK kungfu movies in 90s.

This reminds me a LOT of 3rd Strike. That's a good thing!

@@shadowboxin420 I'm fully aware that visually ot looks like 3rd Strike. I have 3rd Strike, every single Darkstalkers, and every single KOF game to date. Like I said, it reminds me of 3rd Strike. I can't speak to how it plays because I've never played this particular game. I know that it looks like 3rd Strike and a bit of Darkstalkers. Maybe I should have used better adjectives.

@@shadowboxin420 kof's sprites have a more "realistic" tone to them and ,the characters have more normal proportions Darkstalkers are more expresive and over the top, and their characters are able to manipulate their body 3rd strike has more exagerated proportions and the characters have well defined muscles This game definelty looks more closer to 3rd strike if we talk about sprites Gameplay was not in question

I love how they all move like their animals

Yesss I saw this next to a Darkstalkers machine waaay back. And at the time, I thought it was another Capcom fighter. It took YEARS to track this damn thing down again because it definitely wasn't even if it LOOKS just like a CPS3 game. Thanks!

And the combos you can do on this game are insane

@@RobotHau5 I'll admit the supers are a little mundane by comparison to other fighters such as KOF and the like, but i think the idea behind it was have it be a little more grounded. at least that's my opinion.

Art style and graphics look very much like capcoms CP SYSTEM II era. Interestingly , some have said this game was created to take advantage of the popularity of 1v1 fighters at the time, SnK's KOF and Capcoms SF series, but they may have come into the game very late. It ran on a Taiwanese arcade board called Polygame Master created by IGS, who would actually go on to work together with SNK to release a few versions of KOF for their arcade systems. Either way, as they say, imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery, and CAPCOM was being flattered to death by companies like SNK and friends. In the end, the arcades were full of fighters and gamers ate them up. Was a great time to be an arcade player.
