Technically your not wrong this game's Wade Wilson/Deadpool is voiced by Steve Blum rather than Ryan Reynolds , and also Blum does Wolverine's voice in a few cartoons,animated movies and video games .now for the Baraka part , he's doing this Tarkatan kombatant's voice, plus Kuai Liang/2nd Sub-Zero from and for MK11

This game is unfair especially this fight when Deadpool destroys the bridge.

I don't understand why this game didn't get the recognition it so deserves, like arkham series makes you feel like Batman, and Spider-man PS4 makes you feel like Spider-man, this game actually makes you feel like you are the immortal cutting machine with an attitude and fearlessness

Kuba Jed The thing is, while both are (virtually) impossible to kill, Deadpool has one real advantage. His mouth. Domino put it most aptly: "I always forget (or just black out to spare myself the agony) what Wilson's most lethal weapon is... his mouth! He'll talk nonsense until you surrender or commit suicide." Sure, Wolverine would knock him down, but Deadpool would just get up, spouting a never-ending slew of annoying one-liners until Wolverine just got sick of it and walked away, resulting in Deadpool winning by default.

So I guess Logan's shirt has a healing factor too? Lol

To be fair, this version of Deadpool is from the "Fox Cinematic Universe", NOT the mainstream comics (Earth 616). So this IS Deadpool, he's just from a parallel universe. Deadpool carries katanas? This Deadpool has a katana blade that comes out of each arm (like Wolverine). Deadpool uses teleportation devices? This Deadpool has the mutant ability to teleport. Now, the laser vision IS out of nowhere, but when he uses it, it burns diamond shapes around his eyes, just like on his mask.

Okay, if you say so. By the way, have you ever read the "Deadpool Killustrated" comic book series (that includes "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe", "Deadpool Killustrated", and "Deadpool Kills Deadpool")? Deadpool became a psycho killer (nicknamed "Dreadpool" by the writers) in that series and set out to kill every hero, villain, and mutant in the known Marvel Universe. I always thought of this version of Deadpool as Dreadpool, if that makes any sense.

The Ending Remind Me Of X-men days of future past

That end part where he had his hand come apart was disturbing but epic.

Now wait a second..... Deadpool went to Weapon X to get his Cancer cured. But the result of the procedure was his entire body scarred and ugly as hell. And I just want to point out, HE STILL HAD HIS MOUTH!! Before anyone starts lecturing me, I am a die-hard Deadpool fan. And I am not criticizing the game. The game itself looks amazing. I'm considering even buying it again since I traded in my copy of it. I just have one problem and that is what they did to Deadpool! 1) Deadpool doesn't have blades coming out of his arms (Though that would be kickass). 2) Deadpool teleports with Device on his chest, WHERE IS THE DEVICE?! 3) His body isn't scarred and ugly at all after the Weapon X procedure. and finally, 4) HIS MOUTH IS SOWN TOGETHER!!! If you're going to have Deadpool in the movie, do it right. Thank you for understanding.

BlackBirdGuardian Yeah, I'm sure that's why when this movie released way back in 2009, people were mad about what they did to him. But this movie changed a lot of things, so I guess didn't matter anymore. Since there's a Deadpool live action film that's suppose to be made, that should be the true version of Deadpool which should please a lot of fans.

You can see that they start the game with the OLD Logan, which is a great start (of course this is sarcastic) and an obvious sign that he's going to be replaced. The FIRST game hasn't even been finished yet and they have already planned to replace THE WOLVERINE. Ain't that a slap in the face.

If you watch the end credits scene of the movie, you actually see that the stitches in his mouth got ripped out. Plus, his healing factor had mutated beyond Wolverine's healing factor since Deadpool's head had been chppped off but he survived.

Actually (in the Xavier Files at least), it was stated that the best way to kill Wolverine was to chop off his head and keep it away from his body. Also, Kitty Pride once phased her arm through Wolverines head (and consequently his brain) amd made it whole again, instantly killing him (however, this was an alternate dimension). The only way for Wolverine to survive his head getting chopped off is if he held his head onto his body as it was being cut, in order for his healing factor to kick in. The movies really blew his healing factor out of proportion, as it was NEVER fast enough to heal him in 5 seconds from serious injuries. It always took a while for it to heal.

as a more focused version, this design is pretty dope. Deadpool is famous for his antics, but antics aside, the mixed powers, the name, I think it pretty fitting.

Listen, in the film which this game is based off of, it's deadpool. It may not be the version you recognize in the red jumpsuit that's constantly talking, but it's him. Did you even hear Wolverine when he asked, " Wade is that you? I guess you're not the merc with the mouth anymore". That's suppose to be deadpool, except a different version of him. Could be before he puts on the red jumpsuit. This is a wolverine origins story by the way. So this is obviously before he becomes the merc with the mouth.

+Shepard Steadman The Tom he was referring to was Tom Rothman, an executive at 20th Century Fox who was notorious for his studio interference on many of their films, including X-Men: The Last Stand and the movie this game is based off of.

If you saw the film from the beginning when the mutants attack that african village, Wade Wilson was with them. The plane scene and and when they attack inside the building. He had his two signature katanas with him and he was talking trash the whole time. The only difference between this deadpool and the comic book version is that he got experimented on and was fused with the powers of other mutants. Also, Stryker sewed his mouth shut because he talks too much and he has retractable blades like Wolverine. Other than that, he was still deadpool with a few changes. Also, if you watched the post credits scene, he's alive at the end and is about speak with the film ending.

Alienator Yeah, but the fact that he had two katanas come out his arms was obvious that it was Wade Wilson from earlier in the film. Just because he didn't have the two katanas on his back shouldn't blind you from the obvious reveal of him being deadpool, except with some changes. Even before they fight, Wolverine asks, "Wade is that you?". And to be honest, I don't think this version of deadpool is as bad everybody say it is. If a film were to be made on this version of Deadpool, he would still be the same. The only difference is that he has some extra powers, no cancer, and retractable blades.

+AnonymousAffection if a film were made on this version of Deadpool people would be even more pissed off. While people are upset about this version they understand that he didn't have his signature look and ruined the character was because they didn't want him to overshadow Wolverine in his own movie. But if they fucked him up in his own origin story? People would fucking riot, let's just be glad Reynolds (who also played Wade in this movie) made a film portraying him perfectly.

Dolan Gawd I actually didn't mind this version of Deadpool and would have liked to see more of him. Because during the post credits scene, he's about to speak and the film ends. I can already see he would have turned into the regular deadpool, just with a different look and extra powers.

Dolan Gawd I'm sure they could come up with a way to remove the swords from his arms. Or like Wolverine, he can just choose to never use the retractable blades unless it's for backup purposes when it comes to fighting. Otherwise, he can just go get some more katanas and handguns. Put on his red suit and go back to his traditional humor. I honestly think they could make the character work if they did a film using this version. Only problem is, fans would still pissed off about his character. As long his humor and personality is intact, I don't really have a problem with a few extra powers added to him.

I use to play this game with my brother those were the good old days

that ending could've been a way better post credits scene than the one we got in the wolverine

His mouth is closed because Stryker (from the Weapon X program) had the doctors sew it shut. It is explained in the movie that Stryker doesn't like how Wade Wilson (Deadpool) talked all the time, so Stryker finally got Wade to shut up. This is actually based on an alternate-universe version of Deadpool from the comics.

Wish I could regrow limbs and eye balls and brain matter at an accelerated rate.

Wish we had the Days of Future Past costume from the CGI ending as an alternate skin for the game.

its sad to say but the game and the movie both sucked, and im still upset about how they made deadpool. he needs his own movie and I hope it does him justice cause he is one of the best marvel characters

+Zoe Elizabeth It is. It's funny how you had to fight a sentinel in this game and they were showed at the ending. Next thing you know, the sentinels show up in the next X-Men film.

So cool

And of course we're left with a big cliffhanger cutscene at the end...

Wolverine regenerated his shirt!

Wolverine: "Sorry. It has to end like this." Lol yah you better be.

i am glad they changed the name in this game to "the dead pool" instead of deadpool, even raven and activision knew this was not deadpool
