I'm in the minority here with this one. Hugh Jackman is great! And much respect to Jackman for helping to bring an iconic character to the big screen. No issues with Jackman. My issue is, I DON'T like the character. I think Wolverine is possibly the most annoying comic book character of ALL TIME! Wolverine is annoying!! His back story is all over the place! He finishes every sentence with "Bub". He's an alcoholic (who loves an alcoholic?).

I think the most disappointing thing about this movie is that, imo, everyone is PERFECTLY cast…and we’ll likely never see them again in these roles :(

It's cool how he's one of the only mutants who's gift doesn't have a flaw.

Yeah but it is rather simplistic in nature. Just a claw and healing. Without the adamantium he won't be able to damage for example a tank. Then there is cyclop and his brother with their freaking laser

There are flaws. He doesn't age, he's useless against Magneto due to adamantium and he feels pain every time he pops the claws out.

Gambit & Nightcrawler are Heavily Underrated characters, Both have Badass Powers & if seen in X-men 2 Nightcrawler was making the Secret Service look like Domino's only downfall to Nightcrawler was Getting cocky with his Powers & Secret service Member was able to shoot him & Gambit Mutation to be able to fill Deck of Cards or Anything with Kinetic Energy than Send it Outwardly is Pretty Badass wish had those 2 Powers that would be Badass Combination.

I like this film

The only truly bad things i have to say about this movie are the continuity gaff at the end, and the horrendously dated CGI claws. But Hugh Jackman is peak Wolverine here.

When he was destroying the boxes to open the cage doors it looked like he was going down for some high-five’s Lmao

We would still have Hugh if they didn’t demand his diet and muscle mass! Wolverine isn’t always cut and buff in the comics.

Victor actually was a really cool character, but otherwise the story for this movie was... Well it felt like 5 different people wrote their own entirely different script, and then someone came along and kinda blended bits and pieces of all of them together I forgot how much of a twat Gambit was to Logan in their first meeting 🤣

Gambit was knocked out on the street. Then he woke up. Climbed the building to the top. Went to the other side of the building. Only to run back and jump off the roof to do his staff boom. Sure. Also, why did wolverine take off his buttoned shirt when he heard the girl scream? Why did the girl run to victor after she said "he is using us!"? What was she trying to accomplish? "I need to get to the other side of the room."? These are all rhetorical. Respond if you must. Chances are I will not read it. Happy Friday!

Gambit's ability is kinetic energy manipulation. He could jump really high if he used his powers in conjunction, getting on top of a building would not take long for him.
