This is my first time playing this game, but I love Wolverine and Hugh Jackman as the epic Marvel character - and I am super hyped for the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie coming out later this year. And wanted to give this a playthrough while I wait, playing with mods that give me suits inspired by the new movie for my run throughout the game. I hope you enjoy!

X-Men Origins - Uncaged Edition is recorded in 4K HDR on PC on a 144hz 4K Monitor and will include the full game, some free-roaming and messing about if I feel like it. This is done on my rig with an RTX 4090 Nvidia Graphics Card.

X-Men Origins Wolverine is a hack and slash superhero action-adventure game. X-Men Origins Wolverine Game follows the story of the movie that released around that time, X-Men Origins Wolverine (2009) film. The story is a combination of the Wolverine backstory explored in the film and an original plot created by Raven Software, which was influenced by major events in the X-Men comic series. X-Men Origins takes influences from games such as God of War and Devil May Cry with a third person perspective. Combat relies on three options - light attacks, heavy attacks, and grabs. Another form of attack is the lunge, which allows Wolverine to quickly close the distance to an enemy. Wolverine can also use the environment to his advantage. During combat, Wolverine's rage meter builds up, and when full allows him to use more devastating attacks, like the claw spin and a berserker mode, which increases Wolverine's claw strength until his Rage Meter empties.

A thing called TexMod - the main mod is the Deadpool and Wolverine bundle on Nexus mods, I just point TexMod to the exe of the game and then select the file once extracted. One replaces the Classic Wolverine suit (the one I tend to wear in the vids) and I think the Legendary one. Thanks for stopping by! 💯

it looks like the movie suit took inspirations from Wolverine's suit from the show "Wolverine and X-Men"

@@theamazingspooderman2697 The main difference is the boots if you notice it goes outwards in the suit I got for this, but the 2024 movie one is more form fitting on the boots. (At least that's the difference I saw)

@@JeffStrange The suit yes, as it modifies two of the base game outfits and requires a a thing known as Texmod. The game as far as I know is available for more than PC.
Seeing this suit in a video game makes me realize how dope it actually is.
Player: Do I have to be this Wolverine? Me: What do you expect? Black leather Wolverine?

There was a few comments I wanted to respond with this reference with, but I left it. I love that in X-Men 97 they reversed it as many fans hated the change to black leather. So glad Hugh is rocking the classic comic colors for the new movie!

Thinking back to my childhood, this and Spiderman 2 are probably the dopest movie games to come out. Am I missing another one? I remember a dope Hulk game but I cant remember if it was a movie game. Great mod and Gameplay btw. Love your channel. Cant wait for DP&W #LFG🔥🔥
This is the game insomniac needs to look at the healing is fire and done right along with his beserk rage and beserk healing he can take damage and heal while in that state which rewards aggression this is how his healing factor should be not based on how many he kills unless in beserk rage and you got the healing as well take notes insomniac take notes. 🎉🎉🎉

The amount of different attention in this game is amazing, some games even to this day don't put in, I was surprised such care was given. Sometime I just stand around to let Wolverine heal in time between fights, he can survive a lot of pain but needs time to deal with the hits he takes after. If they make it kills = heal, that'd be too easy, at one point in the next video I am working on I had four big monsters attack me at once had to heal via dodging so much I needed time to let the healing factor kick in. 💯

Same here, love fellow Aussie playing Wolverine - he gives it his all and it'll be hard to imagine anyone else as the character.

I would love that, but sadly I doubt such a thing would happen due to Insomniac having their Wolverine game at some point, I'd love either this or the Insomniac one to come out just before or after the movie so there's more of Wolverine to enjoy experiencing.

Either need to get via ebay or a game shop if local. Otherwise not sure where else, as it is not on steam sadly - they really should make it available again due to the hype for the new movie and eventual game by Insomniac. If you manage to find the game the edition I am using is the Uncaged Edition with the uncensored gory violence.
How do yall expect that new trash coming out out to replace this

Can never replace what came before, that'd be jumping to conclusions. And Logan/Wolverine in the new movie is most like a "variant" - an alternate world version of the character as they stated they don't want to undo or mess with events in Logan. Still waiting for further confirmation. And you don't know it's trash till it comes out, simple as.
