    I never want Hasbro to stop making Wolverine figures. That’s a figure that should always be on shelves like Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, etc.

    The custom creator knows his Marvel history too well. He's able to create a recipe of underrated characters like Typhoid Mary (80s/90s), Zaladane (Savage Land), Threnody and Daytripper (Amanda Sefton / Nightcrawler's ex). Looking forward that Hasbro realizes the potentials of these customs. Thank you for sharing these awesome works and promoting the creator!

    This is what we need, Hasbro keep drip feeding us waves look at X-Factor & X-Force, we still can't get a Wolfsbane & Feral to finish off those team's yet?! If I could customize them I would, I have the Moonstar version of Wolfbane & I've also seen it customize with parts of Polaris which I'm eager to get. Waiting on Hasbro to do it is like waiting for the next solar eclipse to occur.

    Dig the video idea, always love seeing creativity with toy collectors. This person has great character choices, really highlights how uninspired some of Hasbro's choices are. Even the stuff that *would* work or you'd expect like Destiny (she was a huge deal in the Hickman era) we don't have. Plus... I demand Xorn and Zorn! Yeah, their story is dumb and convoluted, but their designs and powers are cool!

    This is a great video in so many ways, not only is it something new, different, and unique, but it encourages people towards making their own art, promotes a great artist, and teaches toy makers like Hasbro and the Marvel Legends teams what people might want and how to care more and present things better and to make better figures, sculpts, and poses (without being all that drastically different from what they have already been doing and have established and which would be expected by their customers). You mention in the video that you wish you could make these things yourself, well wouldn't it be a great idea possibly to ask this artist to teach you and train you throughout a video series (where he teaches us all also, and we get to learn with you and empathize with your real struggles in the process), of making at least one of these, down to even the box art? That would be such an amazing project and process, and would also help all of us who might want to make things like this ourselves, and we won't feel bad either because we'll see you going through the process itself with your frustrations. It could be a whole series of videos, with the first at least being an interview with the artist, and then his teaching you and getting you into it, to prove that if you can do it (and don't forget you're a personal trainer) anyone can do it, and you'll be guided through the whole process, the paints, the brands, the process, the pitfalls, and you'll not stop working on it until you're actually very proud of your work. Not only would you learn a new skill, we all would, the video would have tremendous value, and if you ever utilize the skill again, you would be able to make certain custom pieces for yourself, to show Hasbro and other companies how you would prefer to do it or "how it is done right!", and also would be able to create custom pieces like this as potential Patreon and/or Ko-Fi (look into Ko-Fi and their merch programs and also multiple streams simultaneously on different programs for 2024 to grow the audience from elsewhere) as prizes and gifts for patreons or for sign up raffles and competitions and whatever else to increase people signing up to those things and becoming members and paying subscribers (with one of a kind custom figures and art that you learned how to make through this video program and the generous teaching and assistance of this amazing artist that you admire so much). That would make your videos and that series, if you were able to put together such a project, something truly outstanding for everyone and unique on KZread, and it would be a lot of fun, because we would be learning as you learn and seeing that it is never too late to try something that one is not confident in or about (like how you often say that you wouldn't be able to do it, but imagine what a good message it would be if you are shown trying and even achieving something, and then something even better, and on and on). I know you can do it, it would be so motivational, something beautiful for the New Year and give a world that is getting increasingly hopeless seeming, seem to have some hope, and it would make me very happy and I'd become more confident about trying these things too, because I want to learn and make things like this also, and it would help us all also become artists ourselves and less dependent on companies and help us to potentially save money and surround ourselves with amazing art that we want when we want it! We also wouldn't fear losing stuff as much if we can put it together again, we become our own factories (which the corporations must dread). It would be so monumentally heroic! It would also be giving something back to the viewers, something they can actually create things of great value and even things that could make them very proud of themselves, what a gift! Even if the artist doesn't agree to help out in the idea (but I think they most likely would), you could still attempt something like that through your own research or the assistance of someone else, but if he helped, then you would be trained in being able to make things just like he makes, which you were particularly impressed by and which look easy enough actually that he would be able to help you to make some without any trouble.

    They all look great but I'm liking Cannonball, and X-Treme. I'd like to see them make that Shadow King and Exodus, and I'd love a line of Weapon Prime and the Externals. X-Treme has appeared in 2020's X-Force, X-Factor (tho a flashback) and that X-Men Legends run. I think he also appeared in 2021's Way of X and this years X-Men Annual.

    Yup @Destiny is Nightcrawler's mom and Mystique is the biological dad. That was Cleremont's original idea for Nightcrawler's parentage but editors shot the idea down at the time, and then we got the Azazel being the dad story instead. The issue is a cool read imo. Picked it up on comixology on amazon. These customs look goood. Thanks for the heads up. Holy hell Adam X. Yea this was suuuucccchhhhh a 90's character lol. YES!!!!! @ Gentle and Armor. I will buy! Happy Holidays!

    That's factually false. The original Claremont idea was for Nightmare, a Doctor Stange villian, to be Nightcrawlers father but the character creator fought against it. Marvel and the Comics Code Authority banned same sex relations until 1986. Claremont stated that Mystic was potentually unaware she was a mutant when she gave birth to Nightcrawler. The current retcon was more so the work of current writers.

  • @trembledust6819

    @trembledust6819

    Per Scott Lobdell, Claremont always intended Mystique to be Nightcrawler's father and Destiny to be his mother but with the comics code and editors shooting down the idea (Marvel had a company wide band on homosexual characters more then likely as a result of the comics code until it was lifted) it never happened when Clermont was writing Xmen. The Nightmare as Nightcrawler's father idea was probably based on not being able to do what he intended. Stan Lee and Steve Ditko are credited for creating Nightmare back in the 60's. They weren't the ones who was opposed to idea. It was the writer of strange at the time, Roger Stern, who didn't want Nightmare to be Nightcrawler's dad. When Stern became editor of the Xmen later on, the idea of Nightmare being Nightcrawler's dad was pretty much squashed. Lobdell didn't think the idea of Mystique being Nightcrawler's dad would fly so he made the dad a German Baron w/ Mystique being the mom. Chuck Austen later change that to make Azazel the dad. Si Spurrier in his latest work on the origin brought it back to what Claremont originally intended. @@MrRawnch

    The whole “Destiny x Mystique = Nightcrawler” storyline is a fairly recent development. Originally it was stated that Azazel was Nightcrawler’s father, Mystique was his mother and Rogue was Mystique and Destiny’s adopted daughter.
