I have the Mafex Jean, but I'm actually thinking about picking up the 97 Jean. But overall the Mafex version is better

​​@@TuggernautCollectablesmafex female body has terrible articulation without a lil modification. The head sculpt is also not very comic/cartoon accurate. I can mod the body but I really wish they did not give us the aflo hair lol

@@TuggernautCollectables overall yes mafex still has better articulation than ML but for that price tag there are better female 6 inch body out there. And mafex male body is actually amazing, I just hope the female body is the same standard as the male mafex ones. nice video bro.

The Mafex Jean looks mature. The X-Men 97 looks much more feminine and has better esthetics

Mafex looks like an older person... But I love that costume and you can't beat the pose-ability of the Mafex. You should have pushed the wrist all the way into the pegs though, might give people the wrong impression that they don't go all the way in. Price wise, if you can't or don't want to invest in the Mafex, the other two get the job done. The new one looks the youngest.

Thanks, i need to tighten the mafex wrist. The hands kept on falling. 💯 mafex articulation is better but she does look different. Not sure if old, tired, mellow?

That's the OG Ponytail of the animated series on X97, not even VHS do that right. I like TLT long hair, but she is too outdated at this point, hope Hasbro will update her on retro carded version along Cyclops. But for now X97 took the cake. One important thing is, not painted faces, that's a big upgrade unlike VHS, and TLT.

@LosMSR hopefully the show will do really well and Hasbro makes those as well..everyone needs an upgraded phoenix..the Celine Dion head was a bit disappointing

in terms of articulation 97 is the best, but for facesculpt I prefer the love triangle pack.

@DtLS indeed, the new Jean is a bit thin and almost teenage body. Goblin Queen is all adult. As I remember, in episode 3, the real Jean was supposed to be older, so it does not make sense for her to be smaller vs Jean. Thanks and happy weekend.

97 is the best out of all the three, especially the face sculpt. The mafex and love triangle faces look like a woman in their mid 40s

I'll never understand the haters of this figure. The articulation and sculpt are great, head sculpts are attractive/well done--just because it's missing some details from the comics suit and doesn't have the same curves doesn't make it inferior. I have both and prefer this newer version and would likely double dip if they reuse this body to make a more comic based version of Jean.

If people don't have the figure on hand, it's hard to see the pro and cons of the new figure. I was pleasantly surprised by it because I was not eager to get it. I preferred the love triangle, but I was always dissatisfied with that figures articulation. The new one is not perfect but it's not bad as the majority see it...with that said, xmen97 Jean is sold out everywhere, what does that tell everyone? Thanks for watching

Love triangle Jean is still better, more expressive face and the hair on both heads are more dynamic. The only thing I give points to 97 Jean is the double elbow joints but that's about it, not a fan of the single piece torso.

Triangle love pack heads sculpt amazing, ass and upper torso on🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Mafex has good articulations and 97 has the double joint. I am happy with TLP Jean😁
