Student of the Year for me would be Nightcrawler. Even though he showed up midway, he quickly became the heart of the team. He was so good at holding space for them and helping them heal during tough times just by using his words. Such a good friend

When Cyclops turned his eye beam up to over 9000, that was pretty dope

We watched the finale tonight and my daughter jumped up and yelled "I want more!" after the mid credit scene. This show has cemented her love of X-Men. Jean was MVP here. I was chanting "En Saba Nur" when I realized that part of the team ended up in Ancient Egypt, and my husband was just "Who?" Poor Storm. She's gotta wrangle Morph and feral Wolverine.

Gambit coming back as the horseman of death is gonna crush me

what this show did to my expectations the entire season: laid it down. flipped it. and reversed it. 😩 Bravo

Student of the week: Sunspot Student of year: It’s Gambit Remember it

Cyclops is my student of the season, he went from being a boring sappy boy scout to being a badass and leader by the end. I never cared for that character but now I see him in a completely different view.

What if Storm, Morph and Wolverine will be the other 3 horsemen... Famine, Pestilence, War with Gambit's Death

I feel like Brandon is actually a huge pothead or completely sober dude is hilarious

Rogue was a highlight in the show for me. She had a great character arc and she was just so badass!!

Beautifully and gut wrenchingly exceeded expectations

Thissss dam show, between Morph’s transformations every episode before this and Gambit’s death, I’m done emotionally 😅 I teared up when Rogue came in with Gambit’s line, oof that episode still lingers, sunspot’s entrance was pretty cool, Cyclop’s little beam off the wall, and Bastion slapping Cable with his own arm was savage and funny at the same time😂

I didn’t want to say it cus Brandon might faint but Jubilee really did shine this episode with that plasma disc she learnt from the older version of herself and the hit to his face which melted it, such a good moment

Missed Jay on this finale breakdown ! This season showed the potential of what marvel can really do with the mutants and x-men, hopefully they take notes for the MCU adaptation

@@tlc236 I think Kang/Rama Tut/Immortus could very well be responsible for yanking the team into the past, but that Rachel "Mother Askanii" Summers drew Scott and Jean out of the timestream into the future due to their familial connections to her and Nate.

Apocalypse could very well use 4 mutants that fell at Genosha, not just Gambit. (ie. Dazzler, Shaw, etc).

Cyclops saying that too Wolverine he knows he loves Jean and he wants to battle live to see the woman he loves.

Maybe since Cable “gave up” and stayed in that timeline enough to damage Jean Grey, it altered the timeline. In the other 200 timelines, no Phoenix and they lose.

😊😊 justice for you, Brandon. Jubilee kicked butt. By the way, I looked up her power set, and that young lady if she goes full, MIGA has the power of atomic bomb in those damn sparklers of hers. No wonder Bastian’s face almost burned off.

This season was excellent, from start to finish!!!

37:47 It appears to me that the team became keenly aware this was Apocalypse when he revealed those blue kissers. They already know he's an ancient mutant, even if they never caught his birth name [in previous seasons' encounters]. We know Charles is problematic in the comics but people seem to be projecting way more distrust onto him than he's earned in this animated universe.

Jessica’s right Bastion straight up beat the bricks off Cable with his own arm. Badass.

Bastion’s clearly been learning stock management because he got all that, the wings, the body, the slick rick face with no beard anymore, and whatever else, all from Cable’s one arm 😂

This show is absolutely incredible. It has gone so far passed any and all of my Xpectations!!!! Cannot imagine how they can top this in seasons 2-3....I'm certainly here for ALL of it!!! ❤ you BreakRoom crew!

I thought Kurt was instantly going to teleport Bastion away but Rogue rightfully got her own back and the tears in her eyes as she hits him was a nice touch

Seeing Daredevil reminded me how much the 90’s spider man and xmen series’s shared continuity, along with the iron man series, so when I saw Mary Jane it made me think Peter found his MJ? Assuming this takes place after the spider man finale ?

Jean was the student of the year for sure. So gladly they finally portrayed how powerful she is❤

Love the show... almost as much as the X-Men Arcade game playing behind you. Such Nostalgia.

One thing I noticed is that the Cable in this season never mentioned Apocalypse. What if the Cable we have seen since thhe original series hasn't always been the same one. They stopped Bastion's utopia from forming, which paved the way for Apocalypse. So the ruturw Nathan has ended up in has changed from Days of Future Past future to Age of Apocalypse future.

Im sad no one is catching that morph confessed to logan

I would damn near call it a perfect season. Expectations completely blown away.

I was kind of hoping that Bastion was going to trigger Onslaught and we wouldn't see Apocalypse since he was so heavily featured in the original run. but also: it was a good season finale and sets up some fun cliffhangers. The Phoenix thing was kind of a lame out. The cameos were great. I still had fun watching the show and as long as I didn't think so hard about the plots, they were JUST FINE.

Answer this question someone: How the hell are the X-Men except for Rogue breathing out in space 😮🤔

Rogue and Sunspot were the only ones in space and both can survive the trip in space to get to the Blue Area of the moon where there is oxygen. Jubilee got sucked out on the Asteroid when they were in the upper atmosphere, so she had air, but it certainly should have been a struggle (and cold).

I hope that Storm, Morph and Wolverine might be in ancient wakanda and I am hoping that Storm meets her ancestor who was the Sorcerer Supreme and Storm might get to learn about the magic side of her family as her ancestors can be traced back to Atlantis .

Remember the post credit scene showed apacolypse in the current day genosha. He could give wolverine the adamantium if he didnt travel through time

Good episode. Maybe a 4/5. I thought 8 and 9 were better though. The bastion fight didn’t really do anything for me. Wolverine out the entire episode is exactly what I figured and said last week. But was shocked we didn’t get any good Storm action. The best part of the episode was the very end. I didn’t see that coming at all. Jean and Scott being sent to the future and the others in the past. Well… most of the team. Where did Storm, Morph and Wolverine end up? And why didn’t they show us? Perhaps they were taken and along with Gambit will be the Four Horsemen? Or were they taken to be members of the 12?

Bastion also referenced Omni-man, "Think nathan 👉🏾🤖👈🏾"

To be fair, people who don't know xmen aren't going to spend their time watching this show. They would have checked out pretty early on or never started at all. I am a fan, and for the people or back story I don't know, I watch shows like this to explain things to me and thats all I need.

How and who transported them? I haven't read the comics...

I think you're gonna find out more about the technovirus and how it changes Nathan, I think somehow Cable makes it to the past and his blood will end up infecting En Sabba Nur, partially responsible for creating the Apocalypse we know. I wouldn't be surprised if we get Kang for a big chunk of it. There's a story called Apocalypse wars where they get separated in similar fashion. I believe the horsemen in that were Colossus, Logan, Venom and Deadpool so maybe some variation of that probably with Gambit in place of Deadpool. Gonna be interesting where it goes with Sinister. I guess he goes to apocalypse to fix him. Also would like to see more of the Avengers in this timeline. Funny to see them as like the government superhero cops as opposed to the xmen.

Rogue is the student of the year, too impotant a charater, actually killed someone, went under too many emotional cycles and brought along all the action in every episode
