I like that too how Rogue looked at Wolverine as a big brother and he thought of her as a little sister. I went to see this movie in the theater when it came out, and I remember when the text on the screen said "Canada" almost everybody there was yelling out "Wolverine", losing their minds, it was so cool.

Rogue getting her powers was always such a heartbreaking scene.

The original 3 films and the prequel films ....the second film both were the best. X2 and days of futures past.

Rogue can absorb the powers, energies, memories, knowledge, talents, personality and physical abilities (whether superhuman or not) of another human being (or members of some sentient alien races) through physical contact of her skin with the skin of the other person. She is not limited to absorbing superhuman abilities: for example, she has absorbed the strength, agility, and sharp reflexes of an enhanced human. She can also absorb psionic abilities. In absorbing another person's memories, Rogue also gains the emotional responses connected to them. For the transfer of abilities to be accomplished, Rogue’s skin must contact the skin of her victim. Rogue can only absorb abilities and memories from living organic beings. She can possess the powers of several superhumans at once. No upper limit has yet been determined for the number of superhuman beings whose power she can maintain simultaneously, or for the amount of power that she can absorb. Rogue can even absorb gross physical characteristics from a victim. Her physical appearance does not change when she absorbs abilities and memories from a normal looking human being. The victim's abilities and memories are absorbed for a time sixty times longer than the period of time Rogue was in physical contact with that person. Those touched are rendered unconscious by contact with her, though some beings, including Juggernaut and Mojo have resisted this effect. While for most of her life, her use of this power was involuntary, Rogue has recently gained full control over it.

Wolverine and Sabretooth aren't really brothers just for that movie X-Men Origins Wolverine, Sabretooth was more vocal in the comics but to be honest this Sabertooth is closer to the Comic version

Man...I hope when they bring the X-Men to MCU, that they finally do Rogue justice. Comic book Rogue is one of the baddest chicks in Marvel Comics...actually the character that got me into comics back in the day.

They couldn't bc they didn't have the rights to Carole Danvers then now they do. And MCU doesn't always go by the comics just hope they do her justice by giving her more story arcs. MCU X-Men are already confirmed, Prof X is in MOM. MCU Deadpool 3 already in production.

I remember people were pissed off when Hugh Jackman was cast as Wolverine back in 1999 he was too tall to play Wolverine.

What I like about the X-Men movies is how they were able to avoid the superhero label They weren't superhero movies. They were sci-fi movies featuring super powered individuals. You don't get to see that anymore

There was a moment in the comics where she touched Leech, and it briefly made the 2 pass out since the powers basically cancelled each other out

@@jdmarsh91 Yeah but to be fair Leech's powers and Parasites are a bit different. Leech's suppresses others powers he gets near within 50 feet or closer. He doesn't actually take your posts, drain you and their energy as well as memories like Parasite does. So essentially, Parasite literally sucks you dry then uses your own powers and knowledge against you while the person he's draining is powerless and weak. Leech just suppresses or dampens your power if you go near him. I can see Parasite draining Rogue's mimicking abilities because she'd still have energy within her powers. He can do whatever the other person can do as well temporarily. Leech in the third Xmen film, since they made the "cure" from him took Rogue's powers away entirely so she was able to be with Bobby properly without killing him when touching him. Not saying I'd know exactly what would happen but I don't think Rogue and Parasite touching each other would go down the same way Leech and Rogue in the comics.

Wolverines in real life are famous for their compact body but can easily take on animals larger than their own body size. The same rule is applied to Wolverine. The comic shows him to be a compact strong character who, just like the animal wolverine, can take on enemies larger than him. The hair color of the character is black, resembling a wild wolverine. Even after the official data specifically mentions Wolverine's height to be 5.3 ft (1.6 m), there is confusion about his height as artists over the years have drawn him taller than they should have. He has been drawn taller than characters who officially have a 5.5 ft (1.7 m) stature. At the same time, on various occasions, they have made Wolverine's stature similar to Sabretooth's who is officially regarded as 6.6 ft (2 m) tall. In real life, wolverines are around 1.5 ft (0.5 m) tall making them the tallest species of the weasel family on land. Interestingly, like many other animals, male wolverines are larger than their female counterparts.

The official records of Marvel Comics state Wolverine's height to be and his weight 300 lb (136 kg). This set of height and weight makes Wolverine look like a stumpy figure, but the majority of the weight of Wolverine is composed of the adamantium on his skeleton.

I’m from Canada Alberta and I have to carry around a card to prove I’m first native 😶‍🌫️ and most reactions of x-men I see people think mutant shouldn’t have to prove themselves. People fight for our native rights not there made up mutant rights .
