I am form Ukraine (currently live in US), and I can totally relate to your stories about school lol we also had to walk for miles to get to school and the teachers there were so aggressive- I got hit by a teacher with a ruler for not sitting straight up as you're supposed to always have your back straight, even when writing, lol also the teachers would also embarrass you in front of other students' parents so it was always good to do better at school to not embarrass your family lol Love your stories!!
