Uea has been through so much 😭 healing from that trauma is not easy. The fact that this is reality for so many across the world is so much worse. Its refreshing to see such real life topics being protrayed in series. The child actor has done soo good, its so plausible. James has done nothing less of an awesome job in portraying Uea's character.

I agree with you about seeing real life situations in series, even if the subject matter is sensitive. I will have to warn my cousin before he watches this episode. It could be a trigger for him. Like Uea, he is very strong but I still worry.

he really can't catch a break 💔 abusive mother,predator uncle, cheater ex boyfriend turning into a stalker,god knows what kind of man his father is & he's currently into friends with benefits situation which is again going to hurt him, like dang i don't know what he'll do if king mess things up,ngl i do like king but again guy like king can't be trusted

Seems like King really likes him, but he kinda started everything in a roundabout way. Why did he ask to be friends with benefits? I love how King is behaving like they are boyfriends already and not friends with benefits 6:04 and you can tell Uea is just pretending not to like it, but deep down he knows he likes everything about it. The way King just rejected the girl 10:05 and stayed with his friend 10:28, he really is satisfied with Uea. King letting Uea know he arrived home when he was not the type to settle with anyone before, but that’s changing now and you know he’s catching all the feelings when he goes overboard while getting jealous over someone is his sex partner not his boyfriend. Jade is definitely the comic relief we need 4:34 these two are hilarious 😂

I can relate with Uea and his trauma since i went through that terrifying memory as well. Precisely. Because my uncle was also the person who did it. It's been 7 years since that incident happened but i still find it very hard to bear with it. I become so scared with old men and the worst part i even get scared with my own father. Whenever we're talking and he just come closer to me (it may because he doesn't hear me clearly), i immediately move backward. And whenever i have to line up in a public places like ATM and there's an old man behind me, i got a little panic and nervous. Eventhough my uncle had passed away, but the trauma still remains. That's so horrible.

Uea has so many traumas to deal with. His abusive mom, his abusive childhood, his cheating ex and now a sexual harassment. He suffered a lot as a child. He lost his childhood because of this. I just hope he will open up to King and king will help him to over come this ...

King slowly understand Uea that something might be wrong with him..Atleast he doubted...

Poor King, being all flirty and doesn't even know what it was a trigger for Uea's traumatic past...and then him being so patient, then jealous (and admitting it). At 12:29 when Uea says King never settled down w/ anyone before why do I feel like its bc he's been waiting for Uea.

i’m badly crying over Uea’s life story… i feel really sorry for him(

I love how both Net and James are portraying their character, the complexity of Uea's background story and emotions but also King's real emotions that you can see thru his facade. Such a really good job! I really really like how King's is already showing his emotions and staying loyal to the rules and also consent, how he really apologized when he made Uea feel uncomfortable and reassuring him that he won't do anything Uea doesn't want, also when he sent the messages to Uea, staying loyal to him and the promises. I love how Uea wants to look like he isn't enjoying the extra mile King is going like he doesn't feel a thing be really does. I'm a sucker for this series already, love it!!

I gave this bl a chance knowing that the main theme is not something I like, but I ended up coming across Uea and becoming very attached to him for identifying with his traumas. I know what it's like to have a narcissistic mother and suffer sexual abuse, it was difficult to watch and I was a little triggered, but I found the actor's staging of trauma very well interpreted and studied, it's the first time I see bls talking about trauma and sex in such a safe and well represented way.

Heartbreaking that Uea's deeply-seated trauma erupts without warning and King is left to think he's done something wrong, or he's crossed a line, or Uea is suddenly angry with him when he is absolutely clueless what is going on in Eua's mind. To apologize that sincerely when you've not a clue what you're apologizing for, but you give it a shot anyway, is clearly a sign of someone who is feeling a lot more than a bed buddy. My heart breaks for both of them: one knows the other is a player and never really has a 'relationship' (more like a long fling now and again) but took a chance anyway, and the other knows one has secrets that aren't being shared (yet) other than knowing Eua was cheated on by his ex, but he took a chance as well. If they can stay together long enough to build trust with one another, this might have a chance to become really beautiful, but that's going to require character changes on both parts - not an easy thing to do after living a certain way for so long with habits that are a part of each of them. As for the child actor portraying younger Eua, my hat is off to him: what an amazing portrayal of the character he's playing.
