Easiest tutorial I ever followed, your voice is nice to listen to also so I never lose interest!

I look at the cuff in the thumbnail, and I think, "That's got to be a *ton* of work!" But now I see that it's actually pretty simple. It would be easy to mess up, but it isn't hard to do. I think I'll make one in the next month or so. Thank you!

I made one with 4 X’s and i love it! Mine has red and orange iridescent beads!

Thank you!! This tutorial helped me so much with making my first X-Base!! (I only had issues with making a knot to tie off the bracelet in the end but I think that's on me XD)

Typically for cuffs you have to loop it back to where the end bit of the string is. So if you don’t know how that’s a good way to try :)

all of your videos are so helpful! so far I've managed to make a shaker cube, stars and a star cuff! I'm currently working on making a rotating cuff, i plan to make a shaker cube cuff and put it onto an x-base cuff. your tutorials are so simple, so thank you!

I'm really getting the hang of this!! I've made a successful cuff, cube cuff, flower cuff, peyote cuff, face mask and now an X-base cuff!

Whoo hoo! I finally successfully made one of these! I've watched a few videos on the double x base cuff and ended up getting lost and confused. This one ended up with just the right amount of tension and I am proud of it. Thank you for this slow-paced easy to follow tutorial!

It's been a while since i've made kandi and my friend suggested we make each other plur packages. So, after a year and a half break, im back!!

I made it first try yay !! Sadly it’s to big but good for plur!!

how do i get it to tighten enough to be more cylindrical instead of flat like in the beginning , i did it and it snapped which has never happened before, i use go creates bead nd stretch clear cord and i have no idea what anyone else uses.

I like 1.2mm or .7mm fabric covered elastic. You can get it at most craft stores and walmart. I find the best deals on Amazon. Bead n Stretch doesn't have the same tension strength and makes tying knots more difficult.

This makes it so simple! Thank you!

Depends on your wrist size but I believe 33 is a standard size.

i saw that you can make a kandi skirt with this pattern! i sorta understand the Xbase pattern but not how to make it expand like a regular skirt. have you ever done it?

Yes you absolutely can. We call it an x-base cuff when we use it for 3Ds but in traditional beading it's called netting stitch. I've used it to make kandi visors before. it's very versatile.

if you are doing the 30 con. and the 80 base, how many would be in the single?

I don't normally count the beads that way. I start with the base and work from there. Your single needs to be in multiples of 3. I usually use 30 or 33 beads.

Can u redo ur pacman ghost cuff tutorial because it was staticky and I couldn't understand or see what u were doing

Great video, but how do you keep the string tight after the first row? Because when I finished, by cuff had no structure to it and was like mush and kind of collapses on itself making it hard to see the Xs i made, if that makes sense. I used 7mm string like the same material as yours.

You need to pull it tight after each row. It may help to hold tension on it when you start on a new row. Or at the end of a row you can pull the top of each peak starting with the first one you added on the row and collect on the excess string. It takes some practice and experimenting to find out what works for you.

It sounds like you either added too many beads or skipped some points. I would look at your rows and find the mistake.

.5mm has much more stretch then .7mm or thicker string.

Are you adding the last row of only 2 beads? It's a little flared until you do that last step.

You can always tie on more string if you need to. About 3ft is a good start.
