@@lilifunke7298 from what I found on google, he was having personal issues with alcohol and possibly drugs. He was arrested in Ithaca back in December 2015 on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and parking on a crosswalk. His BA was .16% at the time of his arrest. Really really sad.

This song is definitely about Noah. He got arrested and I haven't seen him with the band since. I've been there from the beginning and in my stupid interpretation he is calling out to him but not in an obvious way until you get to the neon lights usually associated with bars and Sam being called at night and he couldn't recognize Noah's voice because he was arrested and drunk. I feel this so much and know the results of addiction. In the end that's why I believe he is crying because they grew up best friends and to see him in the pain he is in when he never knew is powerful but assuring him he will always be there for his friend. Again my stupid interpretation but had to post it. Love and peace to all

Definitely agree with you Ray. It could be about someone else but it makes a lot of sense to be about Noah and his departure from the band. Regardless, it’s a great song and Sam’s emotion is so powerful

What ever happened with him? I used to be really into XA in 2014/15 when he originally took a personal hiatus. I thought he’d be back in a few weeks/months. I moved on to other music and have recently got back into them and noticed he’s still not with them, and he hasn’t been on Instagram since ‘15

I am rendered stupefied every time I hear your voice. It's unique in its own way.

Ok, this one hit me so hard. I used to had a very good friend since high school, and one day he didn't talk to me anymore. Don't know why, but it ended up like this. It was so hard, but I did understood that I had to move on, so that's what I did. But sometimes I miss him so much, and I wonder what's going on with his life. I really hope he's fine and happy. I hope he knows he can talk to me whenever he wants if he needs something. I'll be there for him even although he didn't was here for me.

Nearly broke down. My wife and I are dealing with our son who once made the right choices as young child, smart boy, thought he'd have a bright future. We never put any unnecessary pressure on him. We told him nearly every day you make something of yourself by making the right choices and learning by your mistakes. However, as the years went and now a late teen, he's easily influenced and we have dealt with all the issues from selling, to leaving days on end to the point we think he's either dead or just gone. In today's messed up society, I stumble upon this song and this group and I just feel sometimes there is hope that one day our son will just flip a switch and realize that he has more to offer and more to live for and that his parents love very much and only wanted the best for him. Just want him back so he can hear this. Just once.

I miss these guys. All I knew about was unsteady when I went to see them for FREE. And by far the best live performance I have ever seen from a band. He is an amazing singer live as well as the band, the tracks do not do them justice. If you ever get the chance to see them live, GO!
