About the X-15 Rocket Plane:
In a joint project between NASA and the United States Air Force, the X-15 program was intended to provide high speed flight research. Much of this research was used in the design of both modern-day fighter jets and by the American space program in building its spacecraft. Data collected helped NASA build better launch vehicles in programs ranging from Mercury to the Space Shuttle.
The X-15 project lasted nearly ten years. In this time, 199 flight missions were conducted. Due to the high fuel consumption during the test flights, the X-15 was launched from a “mothership”, which was a B-52. The rocket plane deployed when the B-52 reached 500 mph and the X-15 burned its engines for 80-120 seconds, propelling the craft to extremely high speeds and altitudes. The X-15 holds the unofficial records for both speed and altitude: 4,520 mph (Mach 6.7) and 354,200 feet.

Beautiful model. You really captured the X-15 shape in Legos. Kudos! 👍 I had the honor of meeting one of the top X-15 pilots, Scott Crossfield. He had 13 powered flights in the X-15. Sadly, he died in a general aviation accident, while flying a Cessna 210.
Bought this and had it shipped to the UK. Just need to find time to build it

Sure. Real person gets flesh. All generic figures get yellow. Exception is the Vietnam War theme. We started with Fleshies and have continued ever since.

For now, we do not plan on putting them back on sale. Working on getting our backlog of hundreds of figures restocked and available before we focus on the torsos and legs.

Dear Brickmania team, I have seen on your Instagram that you’re making a coast guard helicopter and I think it’s an amazing kit. I was wondering if you guys would ever consider doing a line of kits that have to do with homeland security like for instance, border patrol or more coast guard kits like a 47ft motor life boat. Please get back to me on your thoughts because I’d love to know!

Adley Benson, have you heard of a program called stud.io? It's basically a reincarnation of LDD and is made by Bricklink. I think there might be a way to convert LDD files to .io files. What I am getting at though is stud.io allows you to add all parts to a wanted list, which you could then use to order all your parts from Bricklink. This is definitely easier-and cheaper (if you wanted to buy it)-than trying to get Brickmania to make this into a kit.

Prices are solely determined by the cost to produce the product. We are likely to produce more Italian-themed kits, figures, etc in the future, but we aren't going to lower the quality on a product simply to reach a lower price point. Quality products 100% of the time!

brickmaniatoys I agree with you quality is better then lowering prices. Lowering prices would make bad quality kits . So there will be more ltalian tanks and planes
