Gotta get me some of these!
Glad they stuck with micro USB because no need to swap all the cables people already have setup. I have 10 V3 cameras and some are 30 feet cables and it would be annoying to switch.

That's what I'm thinking could be the reasoning. But they'll have to switch to USB-c at some point.

Anything connected to the internet can technically be hacked. Wyze has had their share of security issues. If you truly want to avoid being hacked, I would not install network connected cameras in your home.
