Great review thanks so much. Like the updates that they've made to this inexpensive camera. Question for you does this have the ability to do POE for power and data? We're having issues with Wi-Fi jamming out in our area here.

I've had my wyze cams for a few years now and I like them. I do not like wyze support. If your wyze cam is working and a firmware upgrade causes it to not work anymore, wyzes attitude is too bad so sad, your camera is out of warranty. Even though it was working just fine before THEY BROKE IT.!! Terrible policy.

Would you be able to look through/delete footage stored in the SD card remotely, or do you have to climb up to the camera and pull the card out?

I currently have the V3 in a PROTECTIVE HOUSING. Will the V4 fit in this housing?

With no RTSP it a non-starter for me. I'll stay with V3 on the last RTSP firmware

Does anyone know how to completely turn off the spotlight I do not want it to turn on at all ?

What you think about paying for service, verse using SD card and how long will SD card last before it restart recording over it's self. I just ordered the V4 yesterday for first timer security and if I like it will be adding more.

If you’re going to record 24/7 then don’t pay. If not you might want to to get vehicle and package detection.

I have Wyze cameras but their audio just isn’t good. I hope they improve it.

What solar panel will work with the v4?

I'm still on the V3. Use it as a pet cam to keep an eye on my cats when I'm out.

Can u shut off the spot light totally? I like the video resolution.

I am curious about how many wyze cam owners use RTSP? I only have a few cams so the wyze app is plenty good for me. It may not be suitable for those that have many cams to monitor to want to constantly watch from an external monitor or computer. I have two V4's for the outside of my home and they are markably better then the V3s I had.

No need for ir lights to be on .... audio is amazing compared to the V3
