I live in Ceres, VA. which is just a short drive across beautiful Walker Mtn., and Wytheville really is a special little town. I remember as a kid being amazed by the big pencil and a pair of barber's scissors hanging on the side of a building. I also like the wide streets that don't require parallel parking, and the cruise in on main street!

I was born in Wytheville, back when the hospital was on Main Street. Now I live in SC, but go back to visit often!

ive been to wytheville, its so beautiful, yes, i love that big pencil....i have some ancestors who signed up for the civil war in the old courthouse in 1861,, the tabor men.. thats one of the reasons i stopped there and got some history at the information center.. my family is from pocahontas and falls mills va..

I was born and raised in Wytheville. I now live in another state, but there is NO PLACE LIKE HOME. Now I’m really homesick 😢

Wytheville is a wonderful place to live. The people are friendly and warm and there is so much to do that wasn't mentioned in this short piece. I love the community center and crystal springs park.

Yep! Our law enforcement is on it! Unlike in the north where we can drive 90mph and not a cop for miles! What's with that?

This is true but we have Hugh amounts of people come thru on our interstates an for such a small town with so many traveling we are very safe an friendly place just obey the laws of the state of Virginia an u will enjoy r area all r welcome at all time to come visit us or live here
