I used a crafted that cost me a quarter stack, but The Nothing or even Manablast work; I just wanted a bit more of a safeguard because I'm bad at the game. Honestly, the biggest problem with mage dps is missing, so I just figured I'd spellspam to make up for it, which seems to be a trend with my recent builds. I'm also experimenting with the special quad items.
