Some tips for those new to Arcanist like me:
- Each hit from Thunderstorm counts toward your mana bank. However, Thunderstorm follows the regular meteor's aim, while Psychokinesis doesn't. To have both hit, you need to aim for the boss's feet.
- To take advantage of the extra dps from Chaos Explosion, your cycle should look something like (3 Meteors + 1 Ice Snake) x 2 + Arcane Transfer.
- Arcane Transfer doesn't reset spell costs, so don't forget to cast Ice Snake. It's better to miscast Ice Snake than it is to accidentally miss it, as you will find your Meteor cost ballooning until you run out of mana. I dual-wield Lunar Spine as a safety crutch in case this happens, but the melee range isn't too great.
-Unfortunately, Psychokinesis still knocks mobs upward if they aren't immune to knockback, like the regular meteor. Luckily, unlike the regular meteor, it can aim slightly upwards, so you can combo the mob if you adjust your aim (though Thunderstorm will miss).
The Slayer cost me 33 LE.
This mage build uses the same Greed + Magnet concept as my shadestepper. (I also used 2 potion charges in this solo, the same number which I used on my shadestepper run!) I made this build intending to run The Nameless Anomaly, but I have yet to test it out there, since I've never run TNA before.
