Y'a des gens qui critiquent son français ? Les cons... Il est sensationnel son français !

Moi, je suis Dominicain, et j'ai pu aprendre un peu de français et j'envisage d'apprendre la belle langue des haitiens: le créol, spécialement parce que ceci fut un produit des luttes libertaries il y a déja plus de 200 ans. Je crois que la frère Wyclef Jean a fait un travail exceptionnel. Superb!!

Alcibiades Abreu le créole est autant la langue des haïtiens que des dominicains. Nous sommes frères et sœurs du même sang et c’est tout à fait normal que tu apprennes la langue de tes ancêtres, nos ancêtres qui se sont battus pour nous. Seule une frontière nous sépare, mon ami 🇭🇹 🇩🇴 mais nous sommes tout les deux issus de la même île : Hispaniola

Beautiful interpretation by Wyclef. I love his moves, his accent, the way he sings it, the beat. Beautifully done. I am a fan of Jacques Brel and I speak French and English. Ne me quitte pas is a masterpiece of Jacques Brel who sings it with such emotion. However hearing and watching Wyclef taking this song on he has done this masterpiece justice. I love it. Parfait.

Wyclef n'est pas francophone. Le fait de reprendre une chanson française ne le qualifie en tant que telle. Le mec ne peut maintenir une conversation en Français sans se référencier à sa grammaire élémentaire ou des phrases mémorisées. Bon sang! Être francophone c'est tout un art.

Trapsization Yes bécause While the slavery still existed and people triéd to take away their défense and it backfired. People werent too smart back then, thats the process of colonization and for the french it just so happened to turn out badly. Everything happens for a reason , holding the fridge open for something that expried years ago isnt going to mâke it fresh once more. Lastly, the Tainos that were leaving on that Island are part of our Ancestors. They were decimated to nearly nothing after the arrival of your ancestors. The few that did managed to survive married the African Slaves that were captured/sold/raped/maimed, etc. To whom should they have returned the land to?

Yes, trapsization you see you keep using ownership terms like "your" however you're implying as if the people of this time period have something to do with the bloodshed of back then. Like i said everything happens for a reason, if we changed one aspect of history there's a chance many of us would not be here. Whatever happens , happens . The point of learning history is not wish change upon it, but to realize it happened and for it not to happen once more. Many people complain like you of the bloodthirsty humans of back then when colonization and war were ideal. I could say the same about Hitler, Columbus, the whites of the early days of colonization. Yes how unfortunate 6 million people died in camps, yes how unfortunate several natives homes were pillaged , while they were raped and tortured. Yes how unfortunate the french revolution killed several of their own including the queen and king. History is dark and we are taught it to realize just how far we've come from it. If nothing's changed theirs such a thing as a future. Just realize, the reason things are the way they are is because of the events of history, do not mess with the timeline unless you want to be in Limbo. Don't hold grudges against ancient history, those who caused distress are dead and their descendants are left over to make a new.

Il n’y a qu’un mot que je corrigerais pour la prononciation (qui s’enfuit au lieu de qui s’enfouit) mais c’est ce qui rend, en partie, sa version magnifique!! Pour le reste absolument parfaitement bien prononcé. SVP, les francophones, arrêtez de critiquer sa prononciation! Vous n’avez rien entendu des politiciens anglophones qui se disent bilingues et qui nous baragouinent le français au Canada!! J’adore sa version de cette belle chanson d’amour de Jacques Brel!
