Hi @@gonzz0011 I always suggest that traders start with our flagship course: www.wyckoffanalytics.com/wyckoff-trading-course-part-1/ The reason is that there are various different interpretations of Wyckoff theory and to make sure we are on the same page it is better if you start from the beginning. But don't worry; everything will fall into place very quickly if you already have a fundamental understanding of Wyckoff's theory and the Summer intake is within a month from now.

guys, the absolute BEST, most thoughtful, intelligent Wyckoff analysis I've ever seen (but I am NO expert...lol) However, your pure teaching skills are perfectly balanced; especially together. I will be watching ALL of your videos, so this question may be answered in another video. However I would like to know your thoughts on how to handle the FAILURE of the Phase D. I don't have a great example, but I am sure you've also experienced the "perfect" Wyckoff chart that blasts up through the resistance area on great volume clues and even backs up to the creek perfectly. But instead of basing and moving higher, after several weeks you notice weakness that eventually fails. It seems to meet supply, though the heavy volume supply signals are not there. How do you handle/know when the backup to the creek is a failure ? thanks !!!

Jim, thank you for your question and sorry for the late return to you. You've posted the same question on couple of our videos, so, I'll leave you my answer here. Couple of scenarios for a failure in Phase D after characteristics of the SOS rally. If we are still considering Accumulation or Re-Accumulation, failure of SOS rally would indicate an Upthrust Action in Phase B and a potential retest of the support in a potential Phase C action, especially if the Upthrust contains increasing volume signature on the local stopping action and/or reversal. Depending on the character and the severity of the drop off the Upthrust, you will judge whether it was a Phase C type of action or a SOW. There is a short-term swing trade that is available in this scenario for both sides. The second example of Failure in Phase D could be related to a leadership stock being in a true SOS rally and failing to a new lower high (higher than Phase C lows) in a shakeout type of action(still in Phase D) because of the market momentum downward movement. A good example of this is AAPL in 2000-2001 relative to the trading range of 1987-2003. This type of quick, aggressive, scary for weak hands move down will be on the contrary be associated with sudden increase in volume and contraction of the result at the lows of the shakeout (think Brexit low spread contraction as an example for contracting Result on big Effort). Every other scenario most likely be associated with distribution. Jim, I hope this helps.
