Dr. Jay, Thank you for bringing the story of Silverton into our homes. I had no idea of Wyatt Earp's connection to Silverton. Such a beautiful, historic town. Thanks for the walk through history with Boots ;) Molly C.

Thank you for this. My great grandfather was here from the 1890s to 1907. His brother is still here … in Hillside Cemetery.

Well done Dr. Jay!! I really enjoy your walk of wild west history but I particularly enjoy your talk of history of Tombstone. You should definitely do more about other themed wild West towns like Deadwood, Virginia City, Central City, Dodge City, and Coffeeville. Besides Colorado is a place where Wyatt Earp and doc Holliday and their posse actually hid out after the tombstone vendetta.

Always great fun to hear your historic tidbits…especially in places I have visited but didn’t know most of the historic connections.

No kidding? From our standpoint...as summer visitors....one of the things that makes Silverton so awesome is the loving attention property owners give to their little piece of history. It's a short season for sure but well worth the trip. TNX for your input. Which house? Take care, Dr. Jay

Howdy! Had to film at 6 AM each day to assure proper lighting. The town goes nuts mid day as the train unleashes thousands of people! Thank you for watching.
