WYATT EARP's GRAVESITE & HOME In Vidal, CA - & My Mom's Memorial Service
If you'd like to support this channel by contributing to my Patreon page, please visit / visitinggravesites
Today, I take another nostalgic and historic memory lane road trip. In this episode, I visit the historic former home of old west lawman and legend WYATT EARP, in Vidal, California.
I also visit his gravesite memorial in the nearby town of EARP, CA, which was named for the famous cowboy.
The reason for my trip today is to pick up my mom's cremated remains at the Parker Arizona Funeral Home. My final destination is Quartzsite, Arizona where friends and family gather for a celebration of my mom's life and a final goodbye.
Thanks for joining me on my travels on yet another trip to the past, down memory lane.

Thank you for inviting us along. RIP to your Mom, your brother and your step-dad. God bless.
Hi Steve 🙋🏽. The scattering of your Mom's ashe's really made me realize that it really is ashe's to ashe's, dust to dust ‼️ My stepdad was cremated But I wasn't there when My brother scattered his ashes. My biological father and his wife were both cremated. But their daughter decided that she was sole owner of their ashe's. And she chose to keep them. Anyway This WAS very touching and heartfelt to watch. Thanks for sharing this with us 💕. IF you can, have a awesome day 🙋🏽❣️✝️🛐☮️💟❤️👍🏽.

Just from what you have shared with us about your mom, she would have loved that gathering for her! Thank you so much for allowing us to be there as well! May they all RIP!
Wyatt Earp is buried in a Colma Ca. in a Jewish Cemetery that was his wife's family spot. His funeral was in a Congregational Church on Wilshire Blvd. Tom Mix and William S. Hart were pallbearers. Enjoyed your post!
Thank you Steve for allowing to share this moment with you. RIP DEAR LADY
Honored to be included in the scattering celebration of your Mom. Sorry for your loss. She seems wonderful in your videos. She and all of you were very blessed to have each other.

Wow! What an emotional video and thanks for sharing. I put my mother and sisters ashes outside my brothers home in Minnesota in their lake as they had shared nice summer vacations there. Yes very emotional days.
The Earp’s ran a bar/brothel in the Gaslamp area of downtown San Diego. Just watched the end of this video. What a sweet send off for your mom. Sounds like she liked parties. She would have loved it.

Thank You Steve, for including us in the scattering of Your Family Members ashes. That was very kind of You. It seemed like Your Mom had a zest for life and always had a smile on her face and in her eyes. She seemed like a lovely woman. Wyatt Earp’s house reminds me of the old clapboard houses in the movies. It almost looks like a movie set.
Thank you sharing about you mom, brother, and stepdad...As I write this 2 weeks tomorrow, I also just traveled to Vidal and Earp..about a half hour south of Parker in a Park and memorial of the WW2 Japanese interment camp
I always loved the videos with your sweet mother. You and your family gave her a wonderful send off. God Bless all of you. One day you will all be together again.

Thank you for sharing this special time with us Steve... Days like these are great rememberances for family and close friends. Be Safe Be Well and GOD Bless....
Thanks for sharing your Mom's final farewell. I know how difficult it is to lose your Mom, so, I continue to pray for you and your loved ones and wish you peace as you reflect and honor her memory. xoxo
I know how you're feeling. It was 11 years ago that my family said good-bye to my mom. This year was bittersweet, as it was the first time since 2010 that the days of the week were the same, as Mom died on Thursday, April 22nd, and we held her funeral on Wednesday, May 28th. Next week I will be leaving flowers for her, in honor of Mothers Day, which my brothers and sisters will truly appreciate.
What a lovely farewell, with all who loved them, great railway bridge footage. Thank you Steve I am sure your Mum would approve of this vlog with a big smile :)
Thank you for the wonderful tribute to your Mom. I always look forward to where you will take us next. It is a hard time for you I a m sure. God bless you for taking such good care of her.
Thanks Steve for sharing your Mom's ceremony. I am a huge fan of the movie Tombstone and went there once. It was great.
Great video!!! I, too, enjoy going out of my way on trips to visit those obscure historical sites that nobody ever heard of or visits - gives me a sense of accomplishment. also, THANKS!!! for including the scattering of your Mom's ashes - started tearing up (just a little) for thought about my Mom as well and she is one of the reasons why I like visiting obscure historical sites.
THANKS FOR LETTING US COME ALONG ON THIS JOURNEY WITH YOUR MOM.

She had a nice send off with friends and family abound. She suffers no more. Thanks for sharing!

Steve, so sorry about your mom's passing. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. My mom passed away two months ago on March 13th. You do such great work on your videos. I love what you do.
How special. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I almost messaged you last night to see how you were doing after some time, but I thought I didn’t want to bother you. I’m so glad they are all taken care of now. 💜
A beautiful send off for a beautiful, fun loving lady. Peace be with you and your family.
That is def Florida Blue...My Mom was such a fan of Western tv and movies. I think all those 1920's people had incredible stamina and they appreciated that do or die attitude of the western heroes. May your Mom RIP.
Thank you for the video. We decided to take a road trip since we live in Yuma, we went to visit Earp Ca. And The Earp house. A very nice day trip. We have been taking that stretch of road from Parker to Needles through Vidal junction for nearly 20 years and never knew about either place. Again, thanks for the idea.
Sorry to hear about your mom. It’s hard to lose those we love.
We Love our Steve!!

Thanks for sharing this with us. Your mom was such a happy person and this was a perfect way to celebrate her life.
Good for your mom, I'm having my ashes spread on the desert also. No dark underground for me!
Very smart to check the wind direction prior to releasing the ashes. An acquaintance did that for her husband and the wind blew "him" right back into her face. Almost like he was annoying her one last time. Also, I drove thru the desert during a windy day and the blowing sand ruined my windshield by sandblasting it. Nothing I could do about it.
I’m so sorry Steve. You are such a Sweet and Humble Man. Be Blessed ☺️
Timing Steve....I was just channel surfing last night before bed and ended up watching half of Tombstone ... again!
