WYATT EARP's GRAVESITE & HOME In Vidal, CA - & My Mom's Memorial Service

If you'd like to support this channel by contributing to my Patreon page, please visit / visitinggravesites
Today, I take another nostalgic and historic memory lane road trip. In this episode, I visit the historic former home of old west lawman and legend WYATT EARP, in Vidal, California.
I also visit his gravesite memorial in the nearby town of EARP, CA, which was named for the famous cowboy.
The reason for my trip today is to pick up my mom's cremated remains at the Parker Arizona Funeral Home. My final destination is Quartzsite, Arizona where friends and family gather for a celebration of my mom's life and a final goodbye.
Thanks for joining me on my travels on yet another trip to the past, down memory lane.

Hi Steve 🙋🏽. The scattering of your Mom's ashe's really made me realize that it really is ashe's to ashe's, dust to dust ‼️ My stepdad was cremated But I wasn't there when My brother scattered his ashes. My biological father and his wife were both cremated. But their daughter decided that she was sole owner of their ashe's. And she chose to keep them. Anyway This WAS very touching and heartfelt to watch. Thanks for sharing this with us 💕. IF you can, have a awesome day 🙋🏽❣️✝️🛐☮️💟❤️👍🏽.

I know how you're feeling. It was 11 years ago that my family said good-bye to my mom. This year was bittersweet, as it was the first time since 2010 that the days of the week were the same, as Mom died on Thursday, April 22nd, and we held her funeral on Wednesday, May 28th. Next week I will be leaving flowers for her, in honor of Mothers Day, which my brothers and sisters will truly appreciate.

Steve, So sorry for your loss. The only thing I can say to perhaps make you feel a bit better is I lost my dad when I was 19 and my mom when I was 24. I'm now 63. You had many more years with your mom than I had with my mom. Sending you good thoughts.

Fun video about Wyatt Earp. And again some nice memories about your mom. As a western fan she probably would have lived being mentioned in a video about such a huge name as wyatt earp

Good for your mom, I'm having my ashes spread on the desert also. No dark underground for me!

Very smart to check the wind direction prior to releasing the ashes. An acquaintance did that for her husband and the wind blew "him" right back into her face. Almost like he was annoying her one last time. Also, I drove thru the desert during a windy day and the blowing sand ruined my windshield by sandblasting it. Nothing I could do about it.

I loved this video !!! i loved it because the sincerity and simplicity which steve expresses the contexts of his personal life, Steve stopped being a simple youtuber for me, Steve is a chronicler. Thanks always Steve!♥️
