My Grandpa died before I even met him. He was captain in the Air Force flying B-52s. My dad’s lasts words to him when he was 7 was ‘I hate you!’ Before he left and never came back. That changed my father for LIFE. This last thanksgiving his brothers wife went on an exploration of where the plane crashed and found pieces of the plane and brought it back to him. They were quite intoxicated as a normal Louisiana thanksgiving would go, everyone was laughing and carrying on. She pulled those pieces out expecting my dad to be like WOW THATS AMAZING, but me and my mom knew the second we looked at the pieces of the plane & back at him his eyes were swelling up and that was the first time in 65 years I’ve seen my father cry. Not even his own mother’s funeral. RIP Captain Guido Pizzeck
