Why so you can do nothing but get money and not give it. I’m a veteran help me mother f&$@er. You don’t care about this man. You don’t care about anything but image. I was forced to join the marine corps, I wanted to be a marine but 2 weeks before boot camp I hung myself( from depression cheating girl)and had to be revived by my dad and a ambulance and was in a mental institution, my recruiter got me out and took me by the arm to MEPS and then went to boot camp. Did fine for a year and a half but then I started to get messed with hard( long story). I was a all star marine expert rifle man highest pt and asvab scores and losers with higher rank messed with me. I couldn’t take it anymore and started to smoke weed and do cocaine and eventually was in the hospital for a mental break down and started to get separated. Not for drugs I could have went to classes for that for mental health. Now I have a general discharge luckily but it’s hard to get a good job and I am a stay at home dad while my wife works because she makes more money. So you gonna help, Nope, no one cares F$&k you and the military and the US government.

Yes, although I'd ilsay it's not a disorder though. It's just stress that comes after a traumatic event. You don't even have to see combat to get it either. When I hear disorder I think of something that you're unable to work through.

It's not just PTSD that makes vets suicidal. It's also that US society doesn't support them at all. A lot of vets are homeless, even ones who didn't get ptsd. Nobody rehabilitates them and no government program gives them any aid. They can't land jobs and if you don't have a job in the US, the system doesn't even think you exist.

I'm a therapist at a drug and alcohol facility, which treats mostly co-occurring disorder. We have a large Vet population at our facility. Granted, I've never had any WWII vets, but our demographic of Vietnam vets are great patients and many of them are alcoholics with CPTSD. In terms of working with clients - they make me feel like what I'm doing matters, because of their attitudes. Yeah, many are grumpy boomers haha, but when I conduct one-on-one sessions it becomes clear that they're very well mannered, respectful men with a lot of empathy and compassion for others. They have tried to self-sooth for so long. Deep down, under that tough exterior are very vulnerable and broken individuals. The ones that saw combat are so traumatized. I'm not a religious man, but I pray for them. I fear they'll never stop using drugs and/or alcohol. It's incredible sad

I thought he worked in an office, because he came home once a year, for a month, always dressed in his formal dress greens. My mother kept it a secret that he as over in Asia, fighting a war. She cancelled the news paper, and no Walter Cronkite., I was aware of “A” war, I just had no idea my dad had anything to do with it. He wasn’t broken, but pretty damaged. I mistakenly woke him up the WRONG way once….we kids we’re supposed to shake his toes if he was asleep .,, I was 10, and shook his shoulder, and landed 10 ft way. Glad I’ve never been punched again. He died from cancer caused by agent Orange. He did make it to 72, and we had a great relationship when he retired in 1975. I miss him everyday.

❤️✝️❤️James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Galatians 5:16 "i say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fullfill Lust of your Flesh" Matthew 7:24 NLT "Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Mark 2:27 NLT Then Jesus said to them, "The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath. Exodus 33:14 NLT The Lord replied, "I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest -everything will be fine for you." 2 Corinthians 13:13-14 13 All God’s people here send their greetings. 14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Psalms 4:8 NLT In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. Micah 6:8 NLT No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Jeremiah 29:11-13 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Amen 3 John 1:11 NLT Dear friend, don't let this bad example influence you. Follow only what is good. Remember that those who do good prove that they are God's children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God. Romans 8:6 NLT So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Ephesians 1:7 NLT He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. Psalms 46:10 NLT "Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world." Isaiah 26:3 NLT You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! John 16:13 NLT When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. 1 John 4:11 NLT Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. 1 Corinthians 15:45 So it is written: "The first Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit Amen Isaiah 26:3 NLT You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Psalms 119:105 NLT Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Isaiah 26:3 NLT You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! John 8:12 NLT Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life." God bless Amen❤️✝️❤️ Proverbs 12:25 NLT Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up. Acts of the Apostles 1:8 NLT But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere - in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Galatians 6:9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Amen ❤️✝️❤️ Isaiah 1:16-20 Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. 17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. 18 Come now, let us settle the matter says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; 20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken Amen 1 Timothy 2:1-15 Instructions on Worship 1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people- 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle-I am telling the truth, I am not lying-and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles. 8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. 9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. 11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety. Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." Amen ❤️✝️❤️ 1 Samuel 2:2 NLT No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. ❤️✝️❤️ 1 John 3:14 - We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.❤️✝️❤️

@@lance_r72 I know exactly how you feel. Been there before. Stay strong for your friend and family. You won't feel the same way tomorrow.
He is one wise and unselfish vet. Thank you sir!🫡
God bless you sir. Im Mexican in México but you are one man the whole world respects. You are a strong and tough man. Love you.
That's a true man! His service to my nation is GREATLY appreciated, but his tenacity and devotion to his family is more appreciated! Veterans are more valuable than they themselves even know!
This man is brave for fighting in the war, and for telling us that he thought about killing himself. Thank you for your service, and for sharing your story, Sir!!
Thank you for your sacrifice and service. God Bless🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank You For Your Service Sir . . . Thank You For Staying Around so others could hear this ❤
Thank you sir for your service. We owe you our freedoms and lives for your sacrifices. TX
If you ever feel like doing it, you need to realize you don't just think "who will this hurt?" it's much more revealing to think "how will this hurt them?" Most people tend to just think of their loved ones and friends and wonder "will they miss me? Will they hurt?" But not many tend to think of their day to day afterwards like this man did. Think of the weeks and months after you do it. If you have kids actually realize the torment they would go through, for some children that would be the catalyst of a downward spiral. For your friends that could affect how they love others and cause them to be too afraid to make new ones, costing them their sociality. If you ever feel like ending it always remember life is full of possibilities. When one closes 10 more open, you just have to find them. Stay Strong, you've already been doing it for so long.

It will look like that if you allow yourself to grow blind and bitter. but the people today think about the same basic things people thought about 200 years ago. we need to stop believing that any generation is somehow better or worse. we have always been, and always will be, human.
Such a sad story but a much needed to hear one for sure. I’m so sorry for your suffering and I’m so glad you’re still here. Thank you for your service Sir ❤❤❤
The fact that a veteran struggles like this but then realize "stop and think" bless his soul ❤
God bless you. You are the kind of man that we need in our country again. You and my father are so much alike. He served in France, Germany, Italy, and North Africa, but did not live past the age of 46. He had a massive heart attack in December1963 God bless you and your family. Thank you for your service. Thank you for being an American and doing what you thought was right.
Thank you for not giving up

This poor dude. He deserves nothing but happiness and peace
These words coming from a Veteran that seen the worst in humanity & he stuck it out for his children. Thank you Sir for you're service. This world would have been a darker place without you in it. You're words we're true back then & still so today. I would tell myself @ times & later our sons it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem.😢 Ontario, 🇨🇦
Pray for our veterans 🙏🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
God bless you! I know you’re struggling, I’ve been there myself. It was my daughters phone call and voice that brought me back. If you think the world is better off without you, that’s that voice in your head that you need to silence. The world, your family, and friends Would have a hole that would be impossible to fill. God bless you.

1000% correct. Everyone has someone theyve lost and miss desperately - always hold onto the understanding that you are that person for someone else. The hole you’d leave in their hearts can never ever be mended or filled by someone else. You’re irreplaceable. Literally and figuratively.
Thats why im still here. And thank god too because im so grateful for life today.
All of us have been there at some point. God bless you, and I thank you for your service and sacrifices that you have been through.
Selflessness he committed to, great job my fellow warrior😊
Prayers Sir and many, many thanks.
God bless you sir. The sacrifices you made for all of us are appreciated and valued!
I am so glad that you are still here and that PTSD didn't win. My Nam vet Chapter lost 5 to suicide and it was so heartbreaking. 💔 There is love and help and more understanding of what you have been through. Love and care from MN.
