Nice jacket. I’m lucky I was handed down one from my great grandfather he was in the Navy in WW2 it has the stencil on the back The base he was at.

A few Companies that reproduce these are Buzz Rickson, The Real McCoys, Warehouse Co., Dehen, and then… Bronson Mfg for a low cost reproduction.

I have an intermediate cold weather jacket (A-2) that reminds me of these jackets!! Sadly it doesn't zip but almost certain it would have been Talon. These would last a lifetime and then some if you wanted em too

yea the a-2 was the one that replaced the n-1 after ww2 surprised I’ve never had one lol

For anyone looking for a Repro of one of these, Bronson mfg makes a very nice one. A little pricey but, still cheaper than a good condition original.

Just bought a Bronson in blue. Like you say, nice repro. Only thing I’m not 100% on is the screen printed US NAVY on the back in silver. Hopefully it’ll tone down with use.
