WWII Bombers - Low & Loud! - Spirit of St. Louis 2022
Ойын-сауық
Ultra-rare World War 2 bombers take to the skies together at the Spirit of St. Louis Airshow in Chesterfield, Missouri. Watch together as we see low flybys from the Boeing B-29 Superfortress "Doc" (1 of 2 flying), Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress "Yankee Lady" (1 of about 9 flying), and the world's only flying P4BY Privateer, developed from the B-24 Liberator. Also for your viewing pleasure, there are some War Bird fighters like the British Supermarine Spitfire, Tavaaland Mosquito, The P-51 Mustang, and the F-4U Corsair!
This is my official channel of high-quality aviation content! I'm here to inspire and create some of the best aviation content in the world! I'm working on my steady had as "short form" is my priority I know that I need to work on my smoothness for long format raw footage.

Huge credit to those that keep these beautiful aircraft in the air.. It's hard to fathom squadrons of these taking off to go to battle.. The noise and smells must have been terrific.. God bless the pilots and crews that flew them

@@PrestonMonoc My father would ferry 17's across the pond as well as fly cargo over the Hump in India and China with other aircraft during WW2 so watching videos like this gets my heart beating a little faster 🙂
That Corsair was beautiful!!

Yes it was!
What a beautiful plane! At the end of WWII they had several thousand of these aircraft left over, and they scrapped almost all of them........they should have kept a few more around for us to enjoy!!!

I agree 💯%
Wonderful airplanes beautiful sounds! In the mid to late’60s I would ride to the flight line to watch B-52s scramble along with jet fighters at SAC base. Always awestruck by the power and ability to get airborne in short order

Great video but I wish the edits didn’t ship off the birds mid pass. They sound best as they pass by and away.

Well, in that case because they are in such a tight range, you would have to pick one over the other and while I’m here to show multiple aircraft if I just go with say the B-17, I would then miss the B 29 pass because it would already be over my head while I pass it all the way with the B-17 I agree it does sound the best as it passes by all the way unfortunately, I was trying to show multiple air frames in the sky and I not just pick one for the sake of sound. Ill keep this mind when shooting at this years show!

@@PrestonMonoc I figured that was why. I used to film air shows to rewatch back in the Hi 8 tape days. I’d skip every other plane to get a full pass. I knew that they did multiple rounds so on the next round I’d get the planes I had purposely skipped. Just a thought that might help…it’s not like they only make one pass hopefully. I did appreciate your audio not being over-modulated. Don’t know if that’s on purpose or by accident but I appreciate good sound.
