If you want to know why Buddy Landell looked so old despite his birth year, as we say down south, "It ain't the age, its the mileage." You live that hard for that long, it'll catch up with you.

Crazy that Landell was slotted to be NWA champion but in classic buddy fashion, he decided to no-show that night.

I actually really liked this Bret/Bulldog match. The blood and the clear face/heel dynamic made it feel different than the Wembley match. I may actually like this one more, now that I think about it. I also think the Bret/Diesel match from Survivor Series 95 is the best they had, as well.

If no one else says it; I appreciate the Freddy Got Fingered clip edited into Diesel's entrance.

Having OOC narrating and giving background tidbits is quite refreshing

After HHH got his back cut on that gate I cringed when he was slammed in that hog shite. Getting any of that in an open cut could have been disastrous.

I know you lads refuse to do New Generation but I've loved these episodes. I'd love a WWF 96 arc where we show that transition from New Gen to Attitude, some good stuff in there (yes even the Million Dollar Corporation with Steve Austin!).

You'd have to skip over parts of it, there are entire PPVs where nothing of real consequences happens. The IYH shows in particular are often just a waste, you figure they'd have had a big title change or something in the first couple just to try and sell people on watching these, but no.

That's the same way Razor beat Yoko. He used the bulldog off the second rope for the big guys, instead of trying to give them the edge. Did it a lot in WCW too. It was like a secondary finisher for big guys.

Just imagine being a fan in that arena and having to sit next to the hog pen the entire PPV. That smell would be so bad.

Taker's actual height is 6'7", Sid is slightly taller at 6'8" and Nash is a bit taller at 6'9". All would appear to be massive when out in the world, there is a clear difference when they are face to face.

I met Buddy Landell. He called my friend pork chop, and I asked him for an autograph. then he called me pork chop and I said "wait, I thought he(pointing to my friend) was pork chop". He went to say something but just walked off. I was like 12 or 13, so maybe he was about to say something bad and thought too many people would hear it so he just walked away. RIP to him.

You mention this PPV going for a tenner, but I don’t remember IYH shows ever going for that little. In fact (according to Wikipedia), this show was the first one to sell for $20 after the first four IYHs went for $15.

Seeing all the (literal) crap that HHH had to endure early in his career, I do not begrudge him one ounce of all he has now.
