@@KushWilson I’ve seen New Year’s Day live it’s actually worth seeing them play live they normally play in venues not huge stadiums and you have to make sure all equipment is set up for stadiums and by the audio in the video it wasn’t set up properly

@@KushWilson I’ve seen NYD Live as well just because the equipment wasn’t set up properly or was messed up a tad bit it doesn’t take away the fact in their normal settings they are Amazing. Watch one of their live sets on yt if you want to see what I mean.

I had a great time there despite being near bleacher level. This also sent chills down my spine along my skin too. I cried when Rhea won and Asuka lost.

Well they also couldn’t do a rehearsal because of the rain. Which also means they couldn’t rehearse the entrance either and if you notice, rhea botched it. That’s why she did her stomp twice.

The singer botched the performance. Screams were weak, melodies were off. But so many wrestlemania performances are botched.

Even tho they messed up the timing, it’s still the best band cameo

Because it wasn’t good? Ash said that’s how it was supposed to sound but then said that they didn’t have time for sound check and blames that. Just take the loss 🤷‍♂️ I don’t blame her for being off it’s been how long since they played show way more open area and obviously nerves. I like and respect her and the band but this was not it lol.

Fun fact: rhea thought she missed her cue so when she went out during the part where she usually did the stomp... the pyro didnt go off so she had to wait for the next beat drop and did the stomp with the pyro

She probably should have lol. I've heard a lot of new years day, and while I don't think Ash Costello is a great vocalist personally this was not her best by a long shot. Who ever was running sound should be future endeavored

Nada más de verlo en video la piel se me puso bien chinita. Me acuerdo que un amigo por esas fechas andaba en Tampa, Florida, donde se llevó a cabo ese WM 37... y el fue a ver las 2 noches del evento. Me dijo que esta entrada fue por mucho la mejor, que verla ahí en vivo fue algo de locos, que la gente estaba bien prendida con el ambiente, como se puede ver aquí... alv me gustaría haberla podido ver en vivo...

es que a pesar del error de Rhea no se noto porque los musicos se lo taparon, mis respetos a su concentracion, yo pense que asi fue planificado, ellos al verla entrar hicieron el mismo stomp que ella, no se pusieron a pensar si era el momento o no, si el de los fuegos artificiales los hubiera activado en ese momento hubiera sido epico.

New Years Day used to be good but after the Epidemic EP they really went downhill. I think they let the studio market them for a demographic. I hope they at least made $$$. They’re trash now. Ash and Nikki are the only 2 original members. They can’t seem to keep a bassist or drummer in the line up for more than 1 album. So sad, I had high hopes for them. They used to be a diamond in the rough. Now they are cookie cutter industry crap.

Literally their newest album is different compared to the other one they did (which was malevolence) which was after epidemic. Also mind you epidemic was an EP. literally almost every EP they’ve done has been different, from mechanical heart to epidemic. It shouldn’t be a surprise when they experiment and try their own things that they like. Anyone who isn’t willing to accept change is surely someone who shouldn’t be criticizing bands for trying something new or doing things they like

@@rogueshadows1033 The change in style is targeted at the new demographic market share they are trying to capture, namely tweens. Their musical style hasn’t evolved. It has been coopted by marketing exes. A lot of bands make that mistake and fall by the wayside. The real kiss of death for them is the whole professional wrestling partnership. It doesn’t surprise me when bands go for the guaranteed paycheck from the record label. Everyone has bills to pay, I get it. Tweens and teenie bopers, not so much.

@@carloschavez9802 the sound stage was awful. There was an awful backtrack and Ash Costello sounded frigging terrible. She was flat and off in the choruses and she was just too loud in general. It was hard to listen to. Tbey xkyld have cleaned it up alot, so it's not all on her, whoever mixed the sound real-time was just terrible. You'd think with wwes budget, they could afford someone who understands how to mix and shape audio for an arena
