I think WWE doesn't consider India as its major market. 1. No update on Merchandise sellers in India. 2. They made Khali from a monster to a joke. 3. Shanky was made into a cartoon. 4.& Now they released Jinder, even Saurav & Veer also got released. 5. Even after so much efforts no PLE in India & those 2 live events didn't have any major starpower. Literally disappointing.

Because purchasing power of India is nowhere near US and Europe. They can easily buy 35-40 USD products but we can't (2500-3000 rs for a shirt plus import taxes etc.). Plus we don't have too class arenas like other countries.

I think wwe experiment with pushing Indian wrestler ended when they made Mahal champion in 2017 for their Indian expansion and still the ticket sales went down from previous year, it was the first Indian show that didnt sell out in years.

Man not gonna lie , but jinder was over just 3 months back. He had the fans behind during the hook episode. And they were ready for him having another world title reign. Wwe wasted that tbh.

I think the reason is logo ne abhi kuch time pehle se hi wwe dekhna shuru kiya hai so storyline samajhne and heel/face character dynamic samajhne mein time lagta hai, main khud initially 2010-11 ke around cena ka hi fan tha and punk orton jese wrestlers ko pasand nhi krta tha but gradually people learn about how storylines and characters work in wrestling aur tab jaa kar cheeze change hoti hain

They had no character work or mic skill even in ring skills expect for jinder. Fr, Majority of the Indian wwe fans are uneducated and don't have the basic knowledge of pro wrestling. In other words, Unka 2015 wala mentality hi hai abhi bhi 2024 me. And jo Mass Audience hai India ki, unka to wo wala mentality hai "Ye to fake hai", iss vajah se India kabhi WWE ke liye big Market nahi ban paayi. Moreover now, jab other European countries aur baki countries me WWE ka rise hua hai, waha ke profit ke baad to I don't think WWE ko Indian Market se jyada farak parta. Hum log jinko Pro Wrestling ka knowledge hai wo Minority me hai.

Jade Cargill, The only thing she got is physique and does nothing beyond squash matches but WWE sees her money, Did you find any good promo of her yet? Remember the worst period of 2019,They made Kofi win WWE champion and still not over with the market, they didn't punish Kofi for that he was still relevant as tag team champion because WWE has a good black audience. Kofi and Jinder both are from 2010 but we can see the difference between how they treat their superstars and our superstars.

See Non American wrestlers who are liked by American audience like Nakamura, Asuka, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Pretty Deadly, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, they come from a country where wrestling is celebrated and it is a part of their prominent culture meaning that it attracts Investors in their country, leading to formation of major promotions or wrestling company. You might have heard about Lucha Underground, NJPW these are non american wrestling company which is also watched by Americans, so they have know and respect Nakamura and Asuka, Rey Mysterio, Ricochet( known as king puma) in lucha underground, Americans saw them, liked them and WWE wanted them to be WWE superstar hence they get good treated for longer period of time. Sadly we don't have investors here to invest and form a company which will be telecasted to American audience, one of the reason is Indians will not pay much amount to watch wrestling company because we don't have pro wrestling culture but the culture of wrestling in Akhadas. Somehow we all are responsible for their's bad treatment. I guess I could do this as my research in my Phd😅 PST Don't mind some autocorrection.

When was the last time you remember an Indian wrestler being a normal character, it was Jinder Mahal when he was in 3MB but apart from that we see indian wrestlers being pro Indian or very much rich in Indian tradition ,Which is not a bad thing but it definitely creates a lack of interest among the western viewers and even the Indian viewers, Because of this Indian wrestlers find it difficult to be part of a normal storyline and thus creates their absence from the television and thus resulting in a release

Jinder got the chance in 2017 but he never succeeded

Only two wrestlers from india, khali and jinder mahal, have been successful in wwe

Jinder mahal will be called back for sure in couple of years.
