I love this so much. Side note message to #TamronHall, said with so much love sweetie, but please stop publicly saying you 'wanted a girl.' Ask God to bless you again with a girl. As a grown up, probably age 32 & a mother of a wonderful 3 year old son, I was finally able to understand that men DO love their daughters because I witnessed my BFF's daughter and how googly eyed her dad was for her. It stunned me. I had to stop believing men only wanted boys. The reason I believed that down in my soul was because that is ALL my dad ever said. He wanted a son but had a daughter. As if it was a joke or something. Thankfully my uncle was the perfect role model and loving father figure I needed because my father was an absent father. When I was 47 years old, I had the opportunity to tell my father how damaging that was all my life because he said it again. It has been 10 years since and he hasn't said it but all the damage was already done. Bottom line, children hear things and can only comprehend what they are capable of doing and at that age, that was what I comprehended. Your precious baby may hear you say you 'wanted' a daughter. I cring a little every time you say it. Sorry for the book ❤
