Being a casual NXT viewer, I was blown away by the quality of Heatwave. Every match was a certified banger.
Biggest takeaways from Heatwave: 1) Oba Femi is going to be an absolute superstar 2) The 4-way finish was ballsy as hell, and it worked 3) Once Jevon Evans learns how to work with his feet on the ground he'll be unstoppable 4) Having a belt was the one piece missing from Ethan's character. It makes so much more sense for him to have the strap 5) Kelani and Sol are on the right track. The pieces are there but they both need to sell better 6) Chase U will never go to the main roster, and that's okay. They do very well where they are 7) Roxanne's wrestling is top notch, but her heel persona just doesn't work
I was shouting SOUR KRAUT at the German in a freezer joke. 😂

Love that this has been the most upbeat, positive and fun Sidge in ages but the haters still gotta try to drag down the king in the comments. If the show is good, he will enjoy it

Went from The audio just to find this clip and couldn’t stop laughing
I'm so happy for the hometown hamilton boy ethan page. I been watching him wrestle since 2016. I been going to his independent promotion alpha-1 wrestling since 2016. The commentators mentioned alpha-1 and said it's was out of toronto. alpha-1 wrestling is a promotion in Ethan's hometown of hamilton ontario. Next alpha-1 show is this Sunday at 4pm live on KZread if anyone is interested in watching

His “resident of USA” jacket made me laugh hysterically
I like it warm, I don't like it this warm because this show burnt the house down 🔥🔥🔥
😊 The Lola/Roxy match finish some people say was messy I actually liked it because of the chain of events that led to it. You’ve got Roxy who does a pop rock throw her outside does a pop rocks on a table, which is exhausting in and of itself into the ring, tries together doesn’t work, then does a pop rock, then another one immediately, after which was the one that was kind of ugly, but that was fine because she was going at it at 1000 miles an hour, then grabs her after that drags her into the middle ring and does another pop rock and then pins her. I had no problem with it because it was like a chain of advance. I was going that one of the finishing moves was ugly because she was trying everything she could to get rid of this woman. So want to look so pretty and stuff great but I loved it because it looked ugly and sometimes I like an ugly finish.
Just curious, does Sidge wrestle?
It’s funny to see people take cagematch as an actual consensus because when you look at the total amount of votes most stuff only gets like 200-300 votes at the very most lol
Haa! 41:56 It all falls apart for a few minutes. 😆👍
"you're not consistently selling the leg" You mean like pro wrestling?
Hell must have froze over since Sidge didn’t completely shit on an NXT show
Sorry Sidgwick, best herbs are Rosemary and Sage. Coriander's top 5 but not the best.
Art form? 5 people standing there waiting for someone to jump on them is not art. It has always looked stupid.
Sidge is so hypocritical he called nxt matches spot fest but will sit there a day aew are all time classics 🤦🏼♂️ also spit that gum when talking in a mic

He's just a fucking hack who thinks he knows wrestling when the biggest bump he's ever taken was when he fell off the couch reaching for a drink

"a grifter from the 80's" Lol, cornette doesn't need to do the podcast sidge. He made too much money from being a top draw in wrestling, a celebrated booker (even by your man Dave before he refused to praise omega as the best of all time) and a sought after mind (even by TK) He does the podcast for fun and outdraws you every time so shut up

A “great” booker that never got any company he was the main booker for over. Smokey backwater wrestling is what happens if he gets the book.

@@CopingwithPanels consider all the wrestling companies that "didn't get over" against the WWE. Smokey mountain made more money than ECW 😂 And even so, he's still made more money from wrestling than these professional retweeters of Sean Ross Sapp ever have or will

Cornette being a success in the business doesn't change the fact that the reasons he still reviews AEW and most modern wrestling in general are rather grifty.....and deep down you know it to be true since he's not the only 80s star that line would apply to....
@andrewmorrison5289

@@xfacta334 complete nonsense. A Grift is a petty or small scale swindle. 1. He has sponsors that pay him to be featured on the podcast. A podcast he delivers 2. It's the 3rd biggest wrestling podcast in the world 3. He doesn't need the money at all. So....where's the grift? Id argue being a group of professional retweeters of Sean Ross Sapp under the thin veneer of "analysis" whist having never booked an angle in their fucking lives is a grift
@xfacta334

@@andrewmorrison5289 1. I'm well aware. Doesn't change anything. 2. Irrelevant. A successful grift doesn't make it no more or less a grift. Same for a failed one. 3. Not sure how you would know this as factual, but let's take Jim's word for it. That doesn't help your angle. Consistently making content on material that you actively hate purely for the numbers it gets to get a check (especially when you don't need it) is a grift. Lying about your hatred just to corner an Anti-____ sentiment and milk them for all their worth (especially when you don't need it) is also a grift. I'd argue that it takes a hilarious amount for fanboyism to make such a concerted effort to defend a grifter being called out by another grifter. Lol stop wasting time and start that Anti-Whatculture channel instead of trolling here, they not very popular across wrestling YT and have one the biggest channels.....theres some money to be made. Go get it.
Roxanne Perez is the worst on the mic.🤦♂️
Oh man, Sedgwick is an absolute charisma drain . Even when he is being positive he sucks the energy out of the video after Adam does a great job setting up the vid. Can't watch a vid with Sedgwick in now.
