It’s like they make the headsculpts with the thought that nobody would ever take the glasses off

That elite 94 head scan is definitely the better scan. Something that MIGHT work to cover up that forehead a little bit, see if the glasses will sit on his forehead. He wore them like that a lot back in the day. Also, I don’t know why Mattel has such an issue with his head scans. It’s almost comical at this point. Edit: It’s a damn shame we’ll never get a WWE Owen Hart elite or ultimate.

I have been on the hunt for these 2 ultimate edition figures for the past 2 months and I have had zero luck. I haven’t even seen a tag for these.

The screaming head sculpt actually does look okay, going to have to try that. I’ve been using the alternate head from all pink Target exclusive, with the glasses from this Bret and it looks great.

I gave him the neutral head from the Target Exclusive UE Bret. I put the neutral head from this new one on the target one with glasses on and it looks pretty good

I love this figure . I think the headsculpts look great with the glasses on. I found him a couple weeks ago. No luck finding Piper though .

Found and got both

One of the first wrestling figures I ever received was the WCW OSFTM Bret. The attire on this one is very similar. He is my all time favorite wrestler. I wish Mattel could get his face likeness better. The only Bret Ultimate I’m missing is the Colosseum one. I have a couple of elites but I should try to fill in my gaps. The original Defining Moments is so expensive though.

Hey man great review. I just got my Hitman today. I unfortunately had to get him off eBay. I don’t have the time to hunt them down. I totally agree the heads are awful but they can never get his face right. I think jacket looks great. I will always get any new Bret figure that comes out.

Big Bret Hart fant also. The Target exclusive was my favorite Bret Hart but with a head swap this is now my favorite Bret Hart figure

I went through the same thing. There was one walmart that had 3 cases and they couldn't find them. They said they were on the floor. I said they're not there. I went to 6 or 7 walmarts and same story. Finally went to the one near my house and they found me a case

Thanks for the review. My favorite Bret headscan is still the Survivor Series one with the hair slicked back and the cocky smile. It's also irritating that they didn't put white trim on his elbow pads, especially with the ultimate edition price point.

I like the first ultimate edition head sculpts (except for the screaming scan). I’m going to be using one of those. But the new basic head looks good. Honestly I’ll take any Bret head over these.

Finally got mine. The best that works with Bret is the elite 94, which also comes with the target ultimate. If they're not going to do the head right. At least throw in that head

The other head swap is way better. They need to use that last head sculp for ever.

How do the original UE scans look on this body? That's what I plan to use

I actually love this Ultimate Edition Bret Hart. The heads are odd looking but compared to other Hitman figures this one is a keeper in my opinion.

I love this figure. Faces suck though. Actually spotted two Hitman and two Pipers on the top shelf so I got to actually pick ones with decent eyes. This was just yesterday. Left a Hitman and a Piper for another collector. If anyone is in Atlanta go to the Walmart in Tucker NOW! So glad I didn't get scalped on that Defining Moments Bret. Would still like to own it one day though. Might show up in the Vault series.

@AlexWestCollects the faces are bad but for some reason they looked better to me the next day lol. Threw the shades on and left it. Today I had an idea to see if the Nikki Cross shades fit (they work great) so when I took the Bret shades off I could actually see a resemblance *shrugs*

Yes, this ultimate edition Bret is better than the defining moments. I also prefer the plastic jacket with the interchangeable arms. The only thing that isn't better is the torso that isn't molded in the skin tone.

I'm also very shocked that they did not include a Canadian flag of some sort. I mean that was his whole Persona in 97

The DM and the pink jacket one are still the best. I think the 94 is the best head

I have a couple defining moment Bret Hart's, the only thing that irritated me about that figure was no knee pads and the wrong color shades. I actually updated one of my defining moment with Elite 94 Brent arms so he would have interchangeable hands as well

If they were gonna come out with this hitman. They should've brought out the anvil to go with this hart foundation instead of the anvil that's coming out. They started with the bulldog

The issues with the headsculpts has me watching Bret Matches to see where they are going wrong. I don’t think they will ever get the hair right. It’s medium length but stringy; I just don’t think they can accomplish it in plastic without making it look bald

The plastic jackets looks good but I still want a soft goods Hart Foundation jacket and a Canadian flag UE. The head scan is bad so I won't ever take off the glasses lol

The soft goods jacket stains the figure. I opened my Bret at the time and it has some light stain, people that never opened it would have a big stain on it.

That soft leather defining moments leather jacket is ugly the sleeves are all wide on the wrist area. They look like bell bottoms. The new one looks killer with the 94' bret head sculp with jpd custom reflective decal over the 94' elite shades
