For punch finishers, the idea is that they can only do it when people *least* expect it. For Logan and Big Show, people KNOW what to expect, so they're gonna be looking for signs of the punch and dodging it (like when Brock immediately stopped charging Big Show when he saw Big Show going for the KO punch that one time) so to do the move when least expected is their only shot

I loved how Cena sells the GTS, I don't know why many people hate his selling, I also love how he sells the F5 and the powerbombs

Honestly, my favorite finisher is the Tombstone. It looks like he kills his opponent every time and the unique pinning combination is amazing.

I miss the matches were the wrestlers would almost scout out their opponents finisher and know what to avoid and when the wrestlers would work towards that finisher like Bret Hart would work the legs or Ric flair would work the legs or Angle would work the ankle or Austin would do things to weaken the neck so that when he hit the stunner it did more damage and he could win. I miss those scientific matches like that where the wrestlers would sell who can hit their finisher first. It's the diamond cutter versus the whatever. They don't do that anymore

Hot take, the best wwe finisher of all time is the RKO, It can be done in air as catch finisher, off the top rope, , off structures like cells or tables aswell as through tables, ladders and chairs. Randy ortons finisher can be used anytime in or out of the ring in any place in a wwe arena. To add on to this the finisher is already good enough but the “outta nowhere” aspect is what makes it 10/10! Just my opinion tho what do I know 🤔
