What if instead of Otis/Maxxine/Tozowa, we get Creed Brothers and Ivy(Chad was chatting her up this week, too). They are the ones to help Chad win while Alpha Academy get stuck at the airport cause they don't have passports. If the plan is Chad vs. Otis for IC title, the go home Raw for Summerslam is in Otis and Chad's home state.

That makes the most sense to me too because Punk's feud with Drew then becomes for the World title, which just sweetens the pot for Punk.

I don't understand the reasoning of having Drew lose, especially to a jobber like Priest. This is the only time WWE will ever have to give Drew his moment to win a title in front of his family and home country. Why on earth would they keep the title on Damian???

I do understand the reasoning, I just don't agree with it. Like you, I think it would be much better for everyone involved, particularly the fans who payed frankly extortionate ticket prices, if Drew finally got a win. This would be like Cena beating RVD at One Night Stand because "lol imagine the heat." Sometimes you have to keep it simple, & let the hometown hero get a win.

It's absolutely true though. He never should've won the MITB (over Knight), let alone cash-in on Drew during his perfect heel run, let alone hold the WHC, let alone be presented as someone to be treated with more credibility than Finn Balor in the Judgement Day. Triple H made a series of poor booking choices just to push a guy who sounds like he's half asleep during his subpar promos.

It's interesting to me that everyone seems to have come to the conclusion that the women's tag title match is a triple threat so that you don't have to pin the Scots. Because I feel like there's another very distinct possibility - that it's a triple threat so you can have the Scots win the titles without pinning the champs I think there's every chance the Unholy Union are winning those titles at Clash, if nothing else, then just to give a win to some Scottish talent. Cargill and Belair can always win the titles back from them almost immediately afterwards if WWE still wants them to be champs, and if they don't want that for some reason, a triple threat is the easiest way to get the titles off them I'm not saying this is what will definitely happen, but it feels weird to me that seemingly no one else has considered that rather obvious possibility

What threw me a bit off with the WHC match is that Gunther is looming for Summerslam... Drew winning here and having him lose to Gunther at Summerslam would be a little bit underwhelming because I cannot see Gunther fumbling his shot. So Drew would be champ for about six weeks... Priest on the other hand would benefit from beating a caliber like Drew and then dropping the belt to Gunther. But that being said: Gunther vs Drew would be an absolute banger at Summerslam. I like that there are so many possible ways to go but it is hard to predict this match. Guess it depends a bit on how healthy Punk is where they're going with Drew.

Priest retaining due to Punk's interference would just bury Priest even more, not put him over. I have Drew winning at Clash, probably part of him re-signing, but then dropping it to Gunther at Summer Slam because of Punk. Priest cashed in on Drew, so he has a reason to be cross with Priest still and chase the belt still. Dropping it to Gunther at Summer Slam means Drew can forget about the belt and focus solely on Punk, thus opening Gunther's reign for other story lines. Priest's reign has nothing, and dropping the belt would allow them to focus on the Judgement Day story.

100% this. It gives priest go away heat. He wouldnt be seen as a villain but as someone we dont want to watch on tv. As someone who is going to the show, I wouldnt pay money for priest.

I don't think Punk will mess with Drew here. The situation at wrestlemania happened because of Drew being a prick AFTER the match. Punk didn't start it, and he didn't interfered at all during the match. The only way I can see Punk messing it up for Drew is if Drew once again messes with Punk but this time during the match. But that seems stupid, he should have learned not to lose focus after he got cashed-in. It's also not a face move for Drew to go mid match and bother Punk, and in Scotland he will be the face of the match. My prediction is that Finn will try to help Priest again. Damian Priest will freak out just like we saw with Jay at backlash, and this time be furious since he promised there's gonna be no interference in his match with Drew. It's also a matter of ego for Priest, he wants to prove he doesn't need help. Priest arguing with Finn will give an opportunity to Drew to win. This will also start a conflict between Finn and Priest.

If theres one title that changes hands on saturday, i can see it being the IC title.

I feel like having Gunther awaiting an opponent for SummerSlam has really helped the McIntyre Priest match. Before that was announced I felt that they could’ve done the straightforward path of McIntyre winning and facing Punk for the title at SummerSlam but now that throws a wrench into it. Adds that speculation of what the plan for the world title will be throughout the summer and makes this match feel so 50/50 on who will win.

Dont forget there is still MITB before Summerslam. So Drew could win at Clash to right the wrongs of 2022, and then have someone like Jey cash in on him before Summerslam. Then Gunther faces Jey and Drew faces Punk.

Here's what happens: Drew defeats Priest. Jey Uso wins the Money in the Bank. At MITB, Priest and Drew have a rematch. Jey Uso cashes in and Punk costs Drew the title once again. Now we have Drew vs Punk and Jey vs Gunther, 2 long term storylines at Summerslam

Sooo, wouldn't it make sense that the person who wins Money In The Bank and would "steal" the opportunity to win the Championship be someone who would unlikely win the Championship otherwise? If so, then their reign wouldn't HAVE to be long or even strong. They won the Championship based on opportunity not strength or dominance. 🤦🏻‍♂️ So, Damien Priest can and should lose the Championship to Drew cause Drew is a stronger superstar and worthy prior champion that beat Seth Rollins.

I don't think gable needs to win. You can set a gable Otis fued without the intercontinental championship. The story is already there. On the other hand, Sami feels like an afterthought in this match. Which wasn't supposed to be the case when he defeated Gunther. For me, Sami needs to win so we can have him on SummerSlam.

They should let Piper win with some Chelsea Green interference and then Bayley can win it back in a rematch at MITB bc currently there isn't really any other women or time for bayley to build another feud before MITB. It shows that bayley struggles with the giant type wrestlers ahead of Nia Jax and it also gives a hometown wrestler a win. And if you arent gonna have Bayley on MITB then have her win it on the Smackdown after MITB so that then the MITB is in play during the match and it shows that titles can be won on nights that aren't PLE. Bc it currently feels like only the ments tag belt have a chance of changing hands on TV. Every other belt feels PLE or bust

Wwe REALLY need to get better with their women’s division. I’ve been watching nxt for the past few weeks and Vic keeps telling us that they have the best women’s division, and I disagree with that statement but I do believe they have the best BOOKED women’s division in wrestling. Triple H needs some help from HBK to book non-title women’s feuds, because it is very clear that he either just cannot or he doesn’t have the creative to do so.

I think you need to start building for Bianca/Jade at summer slam now. Have Dawn/Fyre win the belts and kickstart the tension between jade and Bianca. And its not like Isla/alba don't have a story. Yall seem to forget about the whole "curse" thing and low and behold. Look who needs a storyline DMG CTRL post mania. Pick up where that left off because remember that Christmas smackdown when those two teams met the first time. Its perfect.

Arguably, English folk don't pronounce it right either. The 'gow' in a Scottish accent has a much straighter vowel sound than the slight vowel closing that English has.
