I haven't seen the whole match, but was watching WWE's twitter for results and they showed a video of the move. To me it certainly looks like a botch as KO tried to move in quickly to try and stop Sami landing on the apron. But I think after that, they decided to add attacking Sami's injury on the fly and incorporating it into the match.

Definitely a botch. His spring off the ropes wasn't right so he didn't have the proper rotation, luckily Owens caught it and went in to play out the move from being too much of a disaster.

Did Blampied miss that Bayley was just up for a "One Time Thing" as they kept telling us? You say Zack Ryder got mauled, but he got some offense in and there were moments where I believed he might do it. The one thing that I hated about Battleground was the predictability regarding the U.S and I.C titles as it was incredibly obvious that Miz would retain as soon as Rusev retained because you can't have both titles on Raw.

I can see Steph doing the big heel crybaby act of "we dont have the world title? Nevermind... Here is a world title and your new champion SETH ROLLINS!!" then Foley comes out and says that Roman Vs Seth will fight at Summerslam for the vacant World Championship!!! BOOK IT!!!

Unfortunately

There was a really great character building moment that kind of got lost in the shuffle, and kind of showed off Ambrose's attitude towards authority and being on Smackdown. When he had that promo with Bryan and Shane and both of them were just building him up like crazy, and Ambrose responded very casually, as if nothing about that night was a big deal and it was probably one of my favorite moments of the night.

I am that fan who watched 6 reviews and still waiting for one.

I feel like Stephanie is gonna get super salty and bring out the old WCW title for raw, And Smackdowns responce will be bringing out a second Tag team titles. Just guessing :P

I enjoyed the highlight reel, it was way more interesting than nearly every talk show segment in the last months. You felt that Orton was truly happy to be back and they both simply had a good chemistry.

It really was a great PPV. A few bathroom breaks but the positives you mentioned were spot on. It did its job in elevating the right stars and that's all I can ask for

To me that tag team match with the Usos WAS GREAT. Lots of great spots.

It was one of my favorite PPV's of the year so far.

"You gotta have the surname 'Anderson' to do...." with the spinebuster...there is absolutely no way to argue with that.

The Jericho segment was really good. My only improvement would be if randy insulted Chris which led to a code breaker attempt that got countered into an RKO, but other then that I enjoyed it. The only problem I have with the whole show is the IC title finish. I also wanted both man to win for different reasons, but the ending was just so bad.

For a shock to the Highlight Reel, I would have had Jericho trash talk, introduce Randy Orton, RKO straight away and then a promo on Brock Lesnar with the 'no enhancement needed' line. Quick and simple with a memorable moment.

SZ vs KO was easily one of the best matches of the year, if not the best. The whole botch/kayfabe thing had me wondering about the match in a way I've never ever been. Great ppv overall, but these two guys stole the show. It's been a while since I saw a crowd enjoying a match like that.

It was a great match, and it ended up stealing the show... but match of the year it is not. Not even close. Match of the night, sure, I will give you that.

That KO vs Zayn... a match of perfection... The storytelling was perfect The Fans was perfect The match was perfect... imo this has to be a dave meltzer 5 star match... Idk how to describe it to me that match was as good as Nakamura vs Zayn or even better then that... this was legit the best PPV of the year

I totally agree with Adam the only minor complaint I have is that I actually quite enjoyed the Highlight Reel promo and Orton's RKO was just perfect but yeah I think Battleground 2016 just became one of my favourite PPVs in the past 5 years and one of my most anticipated for the years to come who ever thought it's gonna become so good back in 2013

I actually enjoyed the Highlight Reel with Jericho and Orton; but yes, it did drag along a bit too much. It was good entertainment IMO... also, Lana's undies were shown during the main event when the camera was showing the locker room during the match... it wasn't there for long but you could definitely see them. ;)

I loved the PPV. But the preshow match between the Usos and BreezeDango was underrated I found it pretty good

This is why I'll never stop watching WWE. They can do shitty things, but then something like this happens and we fall in love again.

Me and my family and friends were talking about the Big E moment the whole night after it happened. It was scary to watch and the fact they didn't update us on it is either really really good, or really really bad. I hope he is alright. I can't seem to find any update online about it, so I guess that is good. No news is good news in this scenario.

the IC title match made Darren Young look strong without having to put the belt on him since they want the belt to stay on smackdown, i thought the ending was fine
