Tbh, not entirely wrong but to be fair theres only been so many changes to the roster the last 12 months so the roster is mostly the same. It does suck that entrances aren't tweaked yearly to make it fresh. But that being said the big changes most people care about (at least the ones that play this game regularly) is the gameplay fluidity and quality of life updates. New match types, updated ref technology, new (returning) weapons, and overall a slight improvement on the smooth simulation style gameplay seen in 2k23 is definately enough to keep the more invested players busy for the long run. That being said as a more casual player nowadays it does suck when I only load 2k23 and 2k22 up over the last couple of years maybe 1-2 times a month and play a few matches and then get the following year only for it to feel almost identical with just attire/slight appearance changes for some wrestlers. I do wish alot of the entrances were up to date. Feels so odd seeing roman throwing the title over his shoulder as 'the big dog' in his entrance when his reign as tribal chief has gone on for 3+ years... you'd think the biggest names in wrestling would at least get the up to date treatment but obviously not.

She does look gorgeous, don't get me wrong. 95 percent of 2k23 have the same files as 2k22, and 2k22 was a recode for 2k20. And look at Bayley, same model. Same engine, playable on PS4 still, and now a new deadline/release. For the same files. You're absolutely mad to support that and call it gaming.

Things I’ve noticed… one is the lighting is more realistic/less reflection off clothing and also hair has less movement ( more accurate to real life)

Same game for another price - no chanse in hell for 2k studio 💀

If I didn't get it as a gift this year, I'd feel slighted. The effort each year to improve it is just shockingly unnoticeable

Bayley's model looks more like PROFESSOR SNAPE

They still need to work more to hair physics/texture really. But again my expectations should never get higher but lower lol. Since until next WWE 2k20 disasters happens again, nothing will be changed for a decade I think.

if you look closely the devs fucked up bayley's hairline because the previous year's bayley model, on her front hairline the highest point in the middle is way lower than bayley's current forehead, they had to get rid of the braided hair for 2k24 but for some reason they thought they could get away with deleting some hair texture and that's why her forehead looks soo big this year.

Why 2k23 seems better than 2k24 to me? Maybe the lights... But i swear, even some 3D models seems to be better :/

Entrance lighting in 2k sucks and only got worse... editing lighting also became a joke. 2K needs to seriously update Entrance lighting and the lighting of arenas/ stadiums... More options are drastically needed. Same goes for pyro.

It seems like most of the body textures are much lower res and hair is lower poly in 2k24. I'm curious to know what settings these were done at in comparison and if this is console or PC because that texture thing really makes me think that the 2k23 footage was done on High/Ultra settings while the 2k224 was on low/medium

Why is it that the undertaker's lighting gets progressively worse each year. This year, there's little to no fog. The bluelighting is supposed to bathe skin tones and the ring. The blue lights are just barely illuminating anything, and the lights just flip on like a switch instead of slowly getting brighter?

Wow I can see the difference in the models, the 23 looks realistic with the sweat and the shading looks lighter and more detailed and the hair looks wet and just clean, the faces looks almost realistic and the eyes don’t look cross sided a bit. The 24 looks almost darker with no wet to it, it almost looks kinds bland and play doughish but not all the way if it’s like they turned the shading off lol, but the face looks like it’s almost smushed in the eyes are like almost cross sided, the hair isn’t wet or I might be blind to not see it idk but yea they made the 24 models look flat shaded.
