one issue with the super moves is TECHNICALLY Roman's is not a new super move it was in WWE 2K23 i think well last time i checked it was a regular move

also sorry for multiple comments thought it'd be easier to break down the video that way Technically The Triple Cross Rhodes is not used as a last resort somethings like vs finn balor Cody would hit 1 cross rhodes and then another HOWEVER its still a pretty cool feature now john cena's Double AA finisher is not restricted to an OMG Moment

my biggest complaint with 40 Years of wrestlemania is i'm worried that its just 30 years of wrestlemania with new matches from Wrestlemania 30-40 I Just hope they add new matches that weren't in The 30 years of wrestlemania mode

The titantrons playing during the Rumble matches is a gamechanger. I’ve been sick of Rumbles but this has refreshed that match for me greatly.

We can finally climb announced tables again. Last time we were able to do that was 2 gens ago 😮

That trading blows system looks very fun, I also love that you can do moves on the announce table without having an OMG. I’m glad that “ Lil Natch “ Charles Robinson is in the game 🔥

FINALLY THE GOOD ANNOUNCE TABLES ARE BACK!!!

Whilst I'm not a fan of the use of real footage in Showcase, I'm at least happy to hear that the narration has come back. What I'm not happy about is that apparently the modes only going to have 21 matches in it. Like come on, it's 40 years of Wrestlemania, I was expecting at least one match from each Mania.

Some matches no one would want to play through (Triple H vs Roman Reigns for example) and other mania big matches can't be used due to licensing

Rick Rude officially in the game is a huge win. Hoping we get a an in-game King Kong Bundy too, along with a few others we've been missing from the Golden Era. Was hoping to see a little about more customization options for arenas and shows too (especially for hanging banners and overall arena types).

The trading blow mini game and the ability to change camera makes the game look authentic!! 😊

Really needed the announcer's table updates, it was a pain trying to get the opponent onto them lol

Charles Robinson referee? Hell yeah! It would be funny if they brought in his iconic sprint down as an entrance or cut scene for him in universe mode. Probably not though. I hope either Mike Chioda, Jack Doan Teddy Long and Nick Patrick are in. One of those guys as well. Grew up with them since attitude era.

@@haydonthegamer3128 I love Earl Hebner but it is highly unlikely they will officially get him in. Unfortunately the Hebners had some issues and they were fired or left the company on a weird note. I would check out the interview or podcast from Earl’s son and just research in general if you want to know more.

I'm 29 years old, every christmas morning around 7am I'd wake up to the new wwe game i'd open all my other present including other games and as soon as I was allowed to i'd sprint upstairs and go play my new wwe game, i fell out of love with wrestling as I grew up stopped watching and playing and have gotten the last few from 18 or 19 I think and im sure i got wwe15 on the cheap. Point being i've not been this excited for a wwe game since I was a child I think 2k have really did a great job with this one and I cant wait to buy it

The spectator mode is great for recording videos. No more highlight real screen recording without bg sound 😊

So, there is no hit detection with weapons like SVR 2011 (like if the ladder was on the ground and you suplex someone on there, they would directly land on the weapon and feel it)

Trading blows and diving on multiple people are the 2 best features they could’ve added. More simulation and less arcade style please!

I really wish they would make some of the strikes feel more realistic and impactful like having a red and bloodied chest from taking chops.

I do wish throwing weapons would take out folks mid dive. That's the one thing I had hoped they'd add.

Spectator mode seems fun, especially for the Royal Rumble. So now we can actually "sit back and WATCH a Rumble play out" 😊❤

I like that the super finisher can also be a normal finisher that just deals more damage. Happy for that detail.

I agree. That's the only downside with the ambulance match in my opinion. Hopefully they that to the match in the future.

For me, cutting back and forth between match footage and gameplay in Showcase mode actually adds to my immersion and reliving the famous matches. 🤷‍♂️

does every wrestler have access to super-finishers, and can you set them to whatever you want?

It's sad to think that we won't be getting some of the best matches from the 40 years of Mania including TLC II, Daniel Bryan winning the title, the Women's title return triple threat match, and so many others.

Also, in the UUDD video and some of the footage you showed, there are some new variations of the irish whip, like one you can do to an opponent while they're kneeling is so cool to me! Can't wait for this!

@@animal1nstinct394 it may not be peak to u but as a player who enjoys making the matches realistic rather than the arcadey gameplay I’m pretty hyped. 2k19 was amazing but this game looks like it could be better. Only thing missing that I’ve seen is no chain wrestling

@@Skibiditoilet9894 2k23 and this newer game are more arcadey than 2k19. by far. like I said, there's combos, combo breakers, stun meter. to me that isnt realistic, that's arcade style gameplay

So Super Finishers can also be moves that leave the ring? It makes Super Finishers a good substitute for OMG moments and allows a bit more freedom for matches where you're allowed to go outside. I wonder if Super Finishers have a ringside category in case you're out the ring or if it's in ring exclusive. I like the announce table additions as well. Gives them a bit more purpose besides something to break. Especially as Orton has moves using it like his back suplex and Vintage Orton DDT.

My interpretation is that a Super Finish is a match ending move. So if there was some to happen out of the ring, they could be something like a spear through the titantron to end the match. A simple back suplex to a table has never won Orton a match.

I know he doesn't win with it, but since they updated the announce table, it's something I'd like him to be able to do since it's been a signature move for a while. Super Finishers to the outside world be situational but could be nice for more freedom. Like Johnny Gargano could have the One Final Beat on the apron, or people could use the Suicide Spear as a Super Finisher.

Have 2K told you if we can use myfaction superstars in regular game modes

Will we be able to switch the camera on a match that we’re playing? To like the old camera angels of Pre 2k23 and beyond?

Yes UUDD showed this in their footage of the Ambulance match. You can also take the Ambulance match backstage and finish the match with the Ambulance back there.

I'm tryin gto find the 40 years of wrestlemania edition but nobody selling it. No Target, No Walmart, No Amazon etc. It's only on the Playstaiton, Xbox, Steam etc stores. Does anyone know if these stores will sell that version or do they just sell standard and deluxe? Thanks

This really makes me can't wait to play this more I haven't felt like this in long time for a WWE games since the early days and I always get each WWE game traditionally that release each year too.

I need them to make those match sliders more intuitive, so we can adjust them appropriately. By default, guys were getting right up after taking a finisher in the previous game.

Is the system requirements same as the previous game?

Are you gonna be able to do Backstage Brawls online?

standing on the annoucer table finaly back not supised same backstage with a small up grade ..nothen great there nice change to the rumble trading punches nice feature...a double count when both are knocked out would of been a nice thing to have back

So are they getting right back up after a heavy mive or what. Becasue that was annoying. They woulndt stay down umless stunned or special move hit.
