Absolutely!!! Or even road to WrestleManianna, a season mode or even a belt challenge mode with stories for each title like no mercy. That was cold!!!

2K is always good with presentation and graphics. However, in both WWE and NBA, 2K has a serious issue with steadiness and fluid movement with their animations. It's 2023, no more excuses.

This game is very underwhelming. I shouldn’t be surprised being a die hard nba 2k dude but this is basically the same game as wwe 2k18 which was the last one I got. No detail added to the stadiums, ramps, presentation like something as simple as saying undisputed championship defense vs just one title popping up. These gaming companies don’t care especially 2k!

The AI this time around is so much better and more “alive” than ever. I wish they had kept the exceptional stat points that some of the superstars had in 2K22 .. I don’t know how much it matters though.. maybe it’s hidden.. you still can get super buffed in Universe mode 😢

@@LoneWolfe_XX it’s a whole new level now.. it’s the reason why 2K23 has been so popular among critics. Yeah the DLC seems lackluster but with the new AI, I think it’s the more the merrier.. Yokozuna is still in his own Uber heavyweight weight class.. he’s more powerful than ever. 😊

Even the XBox One version is worthy imo. I know the graphics aren’t perfect but the game is great. And , one day when I eventually upgrade my system, I have the Series X version as well. Great new game and I’m excited to see what they do next.

I’m considering buying it. I’ve never played a WWE game before, is it worth it?

My first wwe game was 2k20 which really put me off of buying the next and I haven’t watched wwe in years so is it still worth getting because the gameplay looks fun but I don’t know most of the people

I used to play it when i was younger never was a butten master lol is it worth it if i buy it as basically a beginne??

@@HolyManM9 facts, out of 5 online matches, only 1 made it past the opening minute, 22 had problems but not that bad…beautiful game but man that was frustrating…we even ditched the created wrestlers thinking it would make a difference, nope

This is a flat out fun wrestling game with a healthy feature list and the simulation aspects and small improvements are actually the biggest changes this year. This is one of the best WWE 2k games to date in my opinion

Like no loud crowd reactions either, think performance center match. People are just falling into the trap of hyping the shiny new toy up once again...... Now is it improved and still fun? Absolutely. Is it worth $70? Not really.... it's more a buy if you really like wrestling. If you can wait wait.

I'm planning on getting this game because Thuganomics has me sold. I'm wondering if they re-added certain moves from previous games though. - Can we do a springboard hurricanrana on an opponent placed on the top rope? - Are running moves in the Carry positions back? (Buckle Bomb from the powerbomb position?) - Is the environmental attack on steel steps back? (Powerbomb onto steel steps from the Carry position?) - Can we stack a table on top of another? - Place a steel chair under/on an opponent lying down? - Wedge a ladder in between the top and middle ropes in the corner? I consistently did these things in 2K18 (except wedging ladders, that wasn't in 2K18) and was very disappointed to not see any of these features in 2K22. The new pin system is cool, but they failed to bring back the analog submissions and kept that stupid button-mashing mini-game that kills my immersion. Locking in the Walls of Jericho in 2K18 was great against the AI and wasn't an instant win in Online modes just because the opponent has a red limb.

I am debating buying the base edition after work today. I thoroughly enjoyed 22, I’m just curious to know is the AI actually difficult? because on the highest difficulty last year no match felt like a challenge. If so I will be buying it.

It’s better than 22 in every way. The loading times are so fast, There are more sliders that work as well and yes the a.i and ref is much better than last year also. If you liked 22 you’ll like 23 even more.

Loading times are insanely fast and the AI is more of a challenge this year. My two complaints is on advanced entrances you cannot select any soundtrack songs, so no Ozzy or Metallica for your entrance and alternate attires that you unlock in My Faction is restricted to that game mode. Other than that I am having a blast with this game.

How the loading time to get a match 2K22 has a loading screen taking forever?

I don’t like how the superstars roll out of the ring after you beat them up. Also, I don’t know why they took out stunning and rolled out of the ring part in triple threats and fatal, four-way they get right back up. It makes those matches really messy.

I'm actually glad they took that out. There were times I'm just stunned outside the ring laying there hopelessly and I lose the match because I can't get up to stop the pin. Lol

I played it and I think it sucks...the controls are shitty and there are too many legends missing. I hope we'll get a Hulkamania Edition next year. 40 years of Hulkamania

It's worth it. For people who don't know 2k wasn't allowed to do all the fun things smack vs raw was able to do because they had to rebuild the whole format from yukes, when yukes departed from wwe2k19. And they don't have the code for all the stuff yukes left. So they have to either figure out the codeing or make they're own up from scratch. What I'm basically saying is 2k have to start all over from scratch so expect the games to get better each year because they will continue to build on what they have and people still complain

I've had the game since 3-day early access and have not been able to play online at all, literally not once. Servers are complete shit. Just putting that out there for anyway looking to buy this game.

So you still can’t change how you reverse

For me must take 7 out of 10 not 8 because there is error in chowcase mode after I do the asked move it still ask me to do it I don't go to the next thing

Wwe 2k22 is awesome, so might be better off just going with that one if you’re concerned about price Online is still supported too

Was kinda bummed they don't have Sami's old now new again theme, just the heel one, but they managed to have the new shirt for him lol

I’d advise anyone thinking about buying the game to wait a month or two. I say that because the game just came out and has MANY bugs/broken components. Such as Create A Arena being weird & Create A Entrance previews not working. Just wait until after Mania or just from April-May.

If you have 2k22, there’s really no point in buying this. Smartest way to go about these yearly games is to wait a couple instalments at a time

We still can't stack tables on top of each other anymore. They had 1 year to put that back in. This is just sad. They'll put that back in later in the next release call it a new feature. 😑

I'm tired of the crazy price when it should be like 20 bucks for the amount that gets taken out in the new that was in the previous to add something else. @@ToxicXeltathe “last egg version” on pc was a marketing thing for 2k22. The game would default to normal textures instead of high if you were playing at a resolution below 1440p. But feature and performance wise it was the exact same game. I owned both on console and pc. And for this year, the lead dev was asked about that and he said something along the lines of “we build the game on pc first, and if you got high end hardware it will run like a high end game”. The pc version is the definitive version

Xbox review are NOT good! Many saying graphics are not great, mechanics are laggy, and they basically prefer 2k22 over this! Its basically same, with new John cena showcase and 1 new match "war games" so is it worth the extortion price of 90-100 dollars? NO.

2k22 was great and this one is even better! Give it a shot or at least buy 2k22 since it’s cheap now that 2k23 just came out if you don’t want to dish out the full $70!

Do not buy this game I repeat DO NOT buy this game. It’s missing so many features that 2k22 had. Universe mode is complete garbage. They don’t have show intro which is an important part of universe mode. They barely have any tag team victory animations especially the new tag teams like there’s hardly any new tag team victories. Gm mode still is complete trash. Mystory is awful and same for showcase mode. Just stick with 2k22 unless you want an updated roster but with severely less to do.

Just like to add one more thing on WWE 2K23. I don't know is you know this this year it but politics into the games. It can get bans in China and Hong Kong. If the pass 2k game if you create a wrestler you pick country it comes for if you pick China is Hong Kong Beijing plus Taiwan in on it a one China. But now this year it use politics it have Midland China and Taiwan as a country.

I hate to correct this video on KZread but I have no choice so I don't see where anything is working out with visual concepts and 2k creators if this was a wonderful wwe2k23 game then 2k creators and visual concepts would have added all of the old exhibition matchtypes back in the WWE2k23 game and gave everyone better controller settings and gameplay some people may love it but not everybody I think it's trash and lazy creativity and real WWE fans have been begging 2k creators for the old matchtypes to be brought back into WWE games but for some reason 2k creators won't do it I'm guessing money is an issue so if it's about money in 2k creators wallet's then the real old-school WWE fans will be left behind while the new school PG era WWE fans make this the most boring wwe game every single year this game has the most weakest season packs this year and last year and before that !
