Aew has shown off a trailer that looked arcadey( not like all stars as most say) but it got folks talking controversial or not and then current wise aew has shown off the impressive in game engine which has been built from ground up And the good model of darby allen which looks like a toned down smooth/ medium of realistic yet arcade. 2k On the other hand has promised hitting different but only released videos of it hitting the exact same as 2k20. I have no faith in 2k but i have total faith in an unrestricted Yukes 100%. 2k22 will not be good you'll see that but aew's game will be heaps loads enormiously better than 2k and you'll see that forsure.

With all this extra time that has been given to 2k to utilize towards 2k22 if the developers don't capatilize on it that will be the end all be all for them Speaking honestly. Patrick gilmore sounded like he has the right things in store to change the franchise and its up to the devs to commit in putting those visions into virtual reality Also alot of firings has been going on which effects the roster but if their smart they will get creative and add stars that will be first time debuts or first time different legends but im still riding with YUKES/AEW on this one but we will see man. You mean in 2019. But yeah, considering how long it took to get info on 2K20 you see what that lead to. The fact that 2K22 has a damn microscope on it right now and they aren't being more transparent about it, is still saying a lot to me. Waiting until SummerSlam again, inspires no confidence in me that 2K22 isn't just going to be more of the same old boring game we've been getting.

@@TheViper4Life My thoughts exactly. If they were really confident in their product, considering the last botch of a game we had, you'd expect they'd have shown us something substantial by now. They'll release full gameplay footage a mere week before release and in all likelihood it wont' "hit differently." I'm beyond hoping that this series will ever be good, but hopefully they fix the bugs and glitches, the physics, and give us something that's like an updated version of 2K19 and stable enough to play.

@@kayskreed You think if they been working on the game since last year and that is if they even bothered their asses to even start on it last year but seeing how they scanned the superstars around Royal Rumble season, it seems pretty obvious to me that they only just worked on the game earlier this year that we could have had a lot more shown earlier.

Damn AEW game, Wrestling code, violent sirens, WWE 2K and a whole lot more wrestling games are coming back with a vengeance!!

Still hyped for the AEW console game, and I'm intrigued by Violent Sirens as the last games to truly focus on what's known in Japan as Joshi Wrestling was the Rumble Roses games which so far has only two entries Rumble Roses for the PS2, and it's only sequel Rumble Roses XX for the Xbox 360.

I Hope we have a huge NXT roster and NXT UK to make up for all the release stars, but I am nervous a lot of the people who make the roster will have out of date entrances and music since a lot have change after Wrestlemania

I sometimes just daydream about playing The Wrestling Code when it comes out. The Wrestling Code and eSports Boxing Club are the sports games I’m looking forward to the most.

It's a good time to be a wrestling fan with all of the many games coming out in the coming months ahead..

Stone Cold, Rock, Roman Reigns, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle 2k put good rosters out their every year great rosters like 2k18' s maybe virtual basement should take notes from 2k, When WWE games went too 2k the roster has improved a lot, gone where the days with 70 to 100 wrestler in sd vs raw, now where the days of 150 to 250 wrestler from the past present and future

I remember back when WWE 13 and 2k14 came out how hype the roster and gameplay reveals were. 2k really needs to make an effort to capture that same hype again.

To this day Rumble Roses XX is in my top 10 wrestling games and not just because of the T&A, it was a solid sequel that put the sexy stuff to the sides and focused it more on the actual wrestling.

Excited for angle joining the wrestling code..can't be him angle has a bigger head...could be Eric Young that would be epic

If current firings have an effect on the roster for wwe2k22 … this is the best time to shine some spotlight on the nxt roster

The game will at least be playable and I’m sure they added a lot of cool new features. The main problem is simply the roster and how are they gonna fill it out.

I expect if there is a partial roster reveal at SummerSlam it will be: Roman Reigns Drew McIntyyre Seth Rollins Lashley Cesaro Rey Mysterio and many more.... tba

If history is to prove correct, they usually show us the first substantial footage around SummerSlam or in the following weeks. 2K20 they showed us next to nothing until a couple of weeks prior to release was was a bad sign and it proved to be so when the game finally came out. Basically, the longer it takes for them to show us actual gameplay footage (i.e. not unbreakable animations like the 619), the most skeptical we have the right to be. This is usually a sign that they are hiding something. If they are proud of what they have and it looks solid, I'm sure they won't hesitate to show it.

Not gonna lie, getting a bit doubtful for '22. They promised to be more transparent with us in the lead up to the game's release, but by this point the cycle is no different from that of previous games. Let's just hope the next reveal makes up for it, we've gone through too much shit this past year and a half.

Hopefully WWE 2K22 has to be better than the previous 2K games. WWE 2K19 finally drove me crazy to the point where i was finally yelling at the top of my lungs at my TV screen yelling “IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK!!!?!?” “ “I’LL CRACK THIS FUCKING GAME IN HALF!!!!!” all because i get reveresed and lose a match too much. Also they need to fix the reversal system because there is an annoying bug in WWE 2K19 here where half the time, your reversals don’t even do jack shit even if timed right. Hell, It won’t even tell you when to reverse at all!! And i’ve broken two controllers over this game now. This game is why i have anger issues!

I wish the CAW systems would get an overhaul, they always get rid of the wrong shit

If WWE 2k22 is coming in October they got a lot to show between August-October because a year off you would assume they added a ton of new things…this just doesn’t sound good for WWE 2k22 unless it’s released in December or something possibly 3 months until release and we know nothing about the game…and the WWE games section loves to lag on stuff too.

If we don’t see anything until august then you can put money on it being a disaster like 2k20, actually I’m surprised we haven’t seen anything worthwhile yet, if it really was improved and “hits different” they’d be eager to show us everything about the game but they’re doing the opposite. I kind of hope it is a flop, just so there’s a possibility they’ll keep the 2k19 community creations up, because it’s obvious they won’t top that game at least.

Just wanna let y'all know, at this time in 2012, 2013, etc, we were getting in-game footage, answered questions, new features, cover reveals, HOURS of update videos, THQ started that in May. Now in early July 2021, all we've gotten is a 1 minute teaser trailer which showed us nothing but 2 superstars we knew were in it anyways and 5 short videos that have shown us nothing new except how 2K animates things because "Look at us, look what we can do, we're awesome at our jobs, be excited for our cool video game because we say it's cool", this doesn't excite people, it pisses them off and gives them 0 hope & now they wanna finally reveal big news in late August? also if you go on the WWE 2K22 websites it shows the ™ for Andre The Giant & "Macho Man" Randy Savage which means we will also see them included in WWE 2K22 so far the roster that is announced right now is Rey Mysterio Cesaro Ric Flair Bayley Booker T Randy Orton also including Randy Savage and Andre The Giant now taking the total to 8 wrestler's
