well those include in the showcase for sure and if in the my raise(carriere we met younger version of supperstar ( like we faced last edition one on the first match of red but i hope we get still alternate superstar for when its make sence (example tatoo change hair and bear leingh change , ect) thing that it wouldnt make credible on random in universe mode ) like i hae a old school show where i use the double and the legend and i coudlnt use old school taker on random caue one had lesser tatoo and the hair didnt made sence) i hate when they do that but ofcourse having many alternate of old outfit but current look would be great, example having a dolph wiht old outfit wiht still long hair )

It's not like HCTP where you can definitively say Lesnar and Goldberg were the best on the roster. I guess you can say they still hold up today...Reigns is always fun to play as. Good high flying match, I enjoy using Ricochet.

It looks polished but stripped down and simplified - I don’t believe CAS is going to be as robust as we want. It’s probably going to limited compared to the previous games in the series.

These character models are so much better than what the hell we’ve been gettin’. Shit starting to give me ol’ wrestling game feelings, with the superstar HUD, and I am loving it.

The way they made Universe mode now is how I always been playing it. It’s less cluttered, and it makes more sense now since we have GM mode again.

It seems like when modes of a game are over-packed with options, the game begins to not to play right. Look how Universe mode functions when it comes to matches on the weekly cards (no sensible randomization of matches and the weekly opponents were a snooze.)

@@floppa1756 it makes sense to bring in recent releases, due to the roster being small if they weren’t included, and they may include them too if they’re getting a lot of royalties out of it which I think they would be

One thing I noticed is that when the camera pans out during MyRise, Seth's hair actually moves in front of his face instead of being locked at the shoulders.

Don't get ahead of yourself. You can't trust these video game companies anymore. They always screw you. Changing the controls was and is the biggest fuck up they ever did. If it isn't broken, don't try and change/fix it. They have been showing graphics, models, etc....but nothing of real, actual gameplay. Something these gaming companies do nowadays, and when the game comes out, you have nascar 21 ignition.....a broken, pile of horse shit. So don't get your hopes up, the game will more than likely be ass...as usual!

Yall have to stop getting excited over trailers and then pre-ordering these games. That's why these gaming companies will continue to be the scummy pos they are.

Other that the controls though, the game seems to have a lot of promise, never got to play the original GM Mode so excited to dive into that with some friends. There’s really just way too much to even process right now.

nah i got used to it pretty quickly actually liked some of the changes like when reversal was R2 there would be a delay sometimes with my controller but with triangle made it much more easier

1 thing everyone has missed, when the game pauses to show the control scheme, before it zooms in there is a menu on the left. It says controls, moves , combos. So there's gonna be combos, I imagine that's what the Kofi vs hardy animation was showing

hopefully they give us an option for the old controls

Holy shit, I didn't even know they released a trailer until I saw the notification for this. This looks sweet! My faith in this game has been restored a lot more now. Great analysis, man!

Honestly, this pushes the idea they really should make this bi-annual with PC styled DLC packages. That said, now I'm torn between GM Mode, and having to deal with finances, or Universe mode, which seems like SD!2's season mode. I was hoping for a merger. Also, why does GM mode have 3 matches while Universal, at least in the last 2K, had... I think 6 or 8 for a regular show?

Trust me bro, that's the first thing I noticed. The hair moves realistically now and it's not stuck to the back of their necks. If you saw during the seth Rollins scene, hair now falls in front of their faces (if long enough). I'm so happy about that. Maybe now we can get proper hair flips like when undertaker hits the tombstone and does the hair flip while crossing the opponents arms

Thanks for breaking this down. I'll try to keep an open mind. As a creator, I'm interested to know more about the fighting classes. Hopefully certain body types are not locked to weight classes, so for example we wanted to make a heavyweight powerhouse high-flyer like Keith Lee. Or maybe that's just for Career. I'm most interested to see what changes have been made to the creation suite and highlight reel. Hopefully this Universe mode will incorporate some level of story creator as well.

MyFaction might end up being that thing I always needed but never knew I did. And even if it’s only shown in MyGM and not necessarily Universe Mode, dedicated toggles for a title match and interference can be a life changer. Now if we had absolute control over the interference, I’d cry tears of joy.

2K actually shocked me and has me a little excited. Well done.

Anyone else noticing how good the facial animations look? I feel like it really adds to the quality of the models, just the way the eyes and lips move looks really natural and authentic.

Honestly, i normally end up playing universe mode with one main wrestler anyway so this change interests me, however, i hope you can still book everything like previous universe modes

To hell with the controls, I can work around the controls with some game time. 2k looks to be delivering on a beautiful product! If the detailing looks this amazing now, along with the modes they are delivering on, I can only imagine what it will be for the official launch. Great trailer!

My only concerns based off of what's been revealed so far: The control scheme an the universe mode, hopefully being limited to one superstar in UM is an option and not a set feature, I create and download lots of characters and would hate being forced into playing myGM or myFaction, myCareer just to use more than one character since UM is pretty much all I play.

Ya, I dig this. Super excited now!! 😁 Ya agree, I love the real superstar photos, but I can see how this will look wierd against Created superstars. But, that being said.. if the creation suite is as good as we expect it, perhaps that on screen match photo may be able to capture at a very high quality so it matches up well. We will see.

Its good to have the updated arenas of smackdown and raw but I wished they used the controles of 2k19

So excited for GM Mode, but will 3 match slots be the max you can do? I hope not, that would be so disappointing. A minimum of 5 matches for each event should be allowed, to a max of about 8 or 9 for larger events

I'm so hoping for retro attire comeback

I was going to buy it no matter what but now I’m actually genuinely excited to play it. Other than the control system which I’m not so sure about(this will be the third new control system in as many games but I suppose it’ll just take time to get used to), everything else is making me want this game.

Is this footage from Xbox 1X/PS4 or is it from the new Xbox Series X/PS5?

that is all good and all, but how the hair and other thinks will look on CAW and CAD? that is my main question and what improvement they made to them, are we still getting only a few crappy original song or are we getting lots of new song to customize our CAW/CAD with

It'd be a nice touch if after you finish my rise, it gives you the option to transition into my universe centered customized around whatever the story of my rise was. It gives a nice extension then for your chosen player.

If there's no option to revert to the old controls, It'll be hard to get used to it.

So, something that I noticed that really caught me off guard is that Comeback is no longer a skill but is instead, a payback. If you look at the footage of the creation suite you can see it.

This was awesome! Excoted for this creation suite

When it shows the controls next to the controls are the options like restart match and quit match but there is one new thing called combos.

This is the best thing I could of woken up to! I’ve wanted GM Mode for sooooooo long and it’s finally here :) I just wish Kross and Scarlett would still be in the game.

I was looking at the MyGM, Universe and the creation suite, it gives me some questions Does this mean that your only restricted to one Superstar's view as opposed to 3 or 4 arcs why does the creation suite look like a mobile transaction game and where are the rest of the modes in the creation suite What's the difference between MyGM and Universe mode

I’m assuming you can edit the amount of matches in GM mode like you do in universe mode.

This looks sick while I’m not a gm mode fan I am excited for the new modes & im glad 2K kept universe mode in as that’s the mode I buy the game for

I strictly play Universe Mode so i hope it isn't only one player. My Universe is all CAW not being able to play with my singles or tags wouldn't make it very fun. I don't think they'll do it but i hope they incorporate Spotify into the game so we can use real music for our wrestlers entrance themes. It would make Universe Mode amazing everything from your PPV themes, show themes, etc

This Trailer is encouraging. Hair has gotten VASTLY improved . Shown Models Look very good. New Buttonlayout will take some getting used to. (maybe there is an Option to customize as you want?) Personally im more interested in Creation than GM, but to each their own. One Thing im still missing terribly tho, is "create a Story". But good Gameplay and a Solid Presentation are more important at this Point. Careful Hopeful. (and i dearly hope they dont F it up with Microtransactions or play to earn Mechanics )

If universe mode is single player, I really hope we can still play every match on the card, then I could still use wrestlers that I wouldn’t normally play as, a huge roster is great but I don’t see the point if you are restricted in how many wrestlers you can play as. A Rey Mysterio showcase mode would be nice , hopefully we get Ultimo Dragon. I agree it’s looking good and I can’t wait until we get more information about all the modes. I’ve got lots of questions, guess I just need to wait for the answers

That's the problem I have, I prefer controlling the whole roster. Then having like 3 to 5 matches per show (from Gm) with the same people most of the time? (Obviously we can change it) but still.

This looks awesome, I'm excited. I do hope that they have the old universe mode as well as a one player mode as showed here

Agreed, no mention of a story mode yet, perhaps that's to come too. I prefer the variety of the universe mode rather than being stuck with the same superstar.

@@bigballerju07 Thanks for confirming, I'd really like to see a semblance of story mode incorporated into Universe mode, which could also work well in MyGM. Not that bothered about MyRise, will try it but Universe is my favourite. Though MyGM looks good but how will it compare to Promotion Manager mode in the Wrestling Code as Viking Gamer is at the helm of that one. MyFaction sounds interesting too, which I know Unique Mazique went to 2K with the concept as he is an NBA fan, so would be good to see that in universe too.

Haven’t read all comments and this may have been noticed and addressed, but go to 15:32 and watch the detail that they have put into the moves, or at least this one. Watch how Reigns tucks Drew’s head when delivering the jack hammer. Very cool I think!

GM Mode essentially is the new Universe While Universe Mode is sorta like the RTWM only it seems it could go beyond Wrestlemania. I'm intrigued I also hope Bray Wyatt is still in 2k22

@@Windrake101 facts. I was 6 or 7 when I first started playing WWE Games. WWE 12 was my first game so I missed out on 07, 08, 06 GM Mode. Now I get to have a GM Mode

The two modes I'm most interested in are MyRise Mode which looks to deliver a proper female MyCareer-esque storyline aka one separated from the male one, and the MyFaction mode I can't wait to create a cool anti-hero babyface faction.

i believe they won’t be in the game as they pushed the release of the game back for tht reason but believe nia jax gonna be in the game bc during edges entrance a fan was wearing her merch which means if she’s in the game than ember moon karrion kross Keith lee Eva Marie and everybody else who was released just a week or 2 ago will still be in the game even the ring announcer who was recently released
