I'm always disappointed with the lack of tattoo options. I remember the old SvR days and having tons of pre-made tattoos to choose from. Now it's like 5 tattoos max and a bunch of Demon body paint

I remember adding my own tattoos on either 2k19 or 2k20. I don’t remember which one.

With the hairstyle at 8:22 it looks almost like Cody Rhodes. Really hoping that community creations smash it out of the park with this game, especially with how it looks like you can go very in detail with the facial and body figure.

Yep,it looks like they did get rid of the body slider option ( the option to combine 2 body types to make unique body types). Which Visual Concepts broke when they worked on 2k20. It took me yrs to master how to use to it and now it is gone. Body slider option was they only way to get more part selections as well. You could actually make female wrestlers over C cup. Or give them bodies like Maryse or Nikki Bella.

I REALLY hope 2k22 fixed the issue where if you choose a caw to have a hood on when he or she walks out to the ring, if you chose to give your creation the animation of pulling the hood down or off, that it actually does it. Also, I wish that 2k would go waaaay back and have ALL full entrance and victory animations from the time that Yukes developed the games.

I'm pretty sure the SvR games had the option for that. They also had the option to have in a tucked in or tucked out shirt such as a ref shirt which I wish still existed because there was actually no reason to take it out

I am very underwhelmed lol I cannot be excited for the bare minimum. The newest additions were clothes from other new wrestlers. Hair textures are still eh. Waiting 2 and a half years for them to halfass the creation suite and throw us a bone with custom renders and "themes" is not groundbreaking and doesn't excite me as much as I hoped. I can't give them props for simply taking 30 months to polish elbow pads and wrist tape.

I hate they didnt add very much new content to this CAW mode. In all honesty though, as long as the game doesn't crash after making a wrestler, its a win in my book

Soooo is nobody gonna talk about the fact that they spent a whole year and most of the clothes are the same, same can be said for the head accessories and hair styles. I think its time wwe finds a new team for future wwe games because 2k has no care for the game nor fan base. Its sad to see a once legendary status wwe game franchise become what it is today. 2k will never pull through on a good wwe game, same with EA sports and madden. I'll still spend the money on this game for the moments that can be made with friends but come on...DELIVER

It really sucks you can only have 2 attires for CAWs

I'm gonna offer a criticism on WWE 2K22's creation suite; while I approve the fact that they made new body types, I'm disappointed about the fact that they couldn't use WWE 2K16-19's hairstyle for Dean Ambrose, especially since I've been waiting for that one since what feels like forever. I would have used that hairstyle for Yoshihiro Tajiri, TAKA Michinoku, Jamie Noble, Jon Moxley, & Bryan Danielson.

I'm gonna be honest: It looks like 2K19 + the fantasy parts of 2K20. _IT DOESN'T HIT DIFFERENT._ Also, something about the CAS hair + graphics is striking me as purely anime. It looks like Soul Calibur. Not terrible mind you, it just looks like it hails from another game. The hair, noticeably, and I think it's because of the lighting + sheen + lack of detail. Dreadlocks, for instance, should be _matte_ (very little sheen). There's a bit of missing texture as well. It's not nearly as bad as 2K20, but it looks a little more cartoony than 2K19 in my opinion. Furthermore, I never understood why don't they simply add ALL of the superstars hair from previous and current game(s)? It's a no brainer, it's already rendered. I feel like we have the same selection as before plus a couple of additions. It's always one of the areas the leaves the most to be desired and yet it seems to constantly get overlooked. Many of those are also downright ugly and pretty much unusable unless you're making a Halloween freak.

Creation is the huge part of the game, yes they added persona etc, made it look fancy etc, BUT... Its basically same old attires, hair styles, very very limited tattoos etc. Good to see added Sumo size build lol. I have my Universe within WWE games, and one of my characters (arguably my favorite) has the rusty tiger facemask like Hannibal Lecter's. This was a change I only recently made with 2k20, and he's been with me since 2k14. However, that mask was a DLC item in 2k20, so I was really worried it wouldn't be in here, but thanks to you, that weight has been lifted because I now know it's in the game.

So they essentially have the same hair styles as in every other game??? I was hoping for a Kevin Nash generic long parted in the middle hair. Is that not available? Can we tweak hair length??? Is this really a better creation suite then previous years?

SO FREAKING HAPPY 2K INCOPORATED MORE BLACK HAIRSTYLES!!! Appreciate that when u put on a jacket or a jacket with a hood it doesn't remove your hair and u can see ur hair in the hood. So they tell me they could of been did that.

First minute and I'm actually going crazy, the menu looks really... nice. That's the only way I can think of saying it. It's just really nice. 😞 the hair options are always a big thing for me. Sucks nothing is new..

I hope it doesn't have that dumb layer issue where certain hairs or beards prevent you from using upper body, head and neck gear. Always hated how if my caw had the big beard or long hair I couldn't wear certain vests, coats, hats or chains.

It's concerning to see that some of the attire options have a locked symbol next to them, like you'd have to buy them with VC like you would in career mode in games past. I hope that's not the case cuz that would ruin the game entirely for me. I don't want to have to earn and spend VC just to create stuff in the normal creation mode. Don't know if you can but hopefully you can shed some light on this

The body slider is gone. 2K/Visual Concepts broke it when trying to fix WWE2K20, so they simply removed it.

Can you customize superstars moves set?

I will give credit where credit is due. They knocked it out of the park with the body shapes/types and the face templates. Phenomenally better then 2k20. Also like that they increased the images from 36 to 96. What is lacking severely though for me is the creativity for the create a wrestler. It's all the same gear (which is fine but...) and options we had in 2k20 with minor tweaks and 1 or 2 items added here or there but 99% the same relative to 2k20. They really didn't add anything to it, they could of added new attires, new tattoo options for each limb, new face paints etc. It just doesn't hit different from a creative stand point. But graphically, kudos to that part and great job as that does hit different. I do hope the rumors are true and that one of the DLCs is a creation suite content pack filled with new attires and content. I am still getting the game regardless just was hoping for bit more creativeness for all of us. Also sad that from this video there doesn't seem to be a voice choice...hope the default voice isn't high pitch, hope the voice changes depending on your size at least.

To me it seems like this is just what 20 should’ve been and not something “different” it’s honestly just a upgrade of twenty not necessarily a new game but that could just be me

kinda really disappointed, most of the hairstyles are outdated, stupid or have been recycled from game to game. theres barely any trendy / diverse hairstyles and the pre-made tattoos are so bad they honestly shouldnt even bother lmao. This is exactly why they shouldnt be releasing a game every year, just copy paste sell 50 bucks

@@rascaol that’s the most disappointing part they had pretty much three years plus to prepare and build this game there’s no reason that there shouldn’t be a lot more new features and options for customization like from what we’ve seen Roman doesn’t even have his tattoo updated for crying out loud and he’s had it since his return which was over a year ago so there really shouldn’t be any excuses whatsoever

Will the Physical Deluxe Edition include the game for both gens? Cause 2K doesn't say anything about it but PS Store says Digital Deluxe is for both gens, so I think the Physical one should contain both gens too, but I'm not sure. Please help me. Thanks!

Looks great!!!! Although we should have voice options! Comeback as a payback is stupid! And I need them to make more improvement on the CAWs having similar texture to the real superstars!

Comeback is a payback now? Honestly that makes sense but thr problem is that it forces you to choose between the good ones for it. If it's In the minor payback slot that's good if you can use it more than once because that means you don't always have to use instant recover and can bring a different payback but if it's still only once then it's the thought of "do I want a semi free sig once or do I want to get up immediately and have a buff but I can use it as many times as I want" and if it's a major payback then I'd rather has resiliency than that because come on that's a no brainer

So, because we can't actually sculpt the bodies anymore we can't make very accurate versions of missing Superstars. Makes it hurt even more, that some of my favorites aren't in the game. Edit: At least "body type" really is body type in this game still when so many other games mislabel gender as body type these days.
